The biggest draw for renting our luxury chalets in summer instead of winter is the great range activities on offer in the Alps in summer.
Skiing and snowboarding are replaced by road and mountain biking. Cross-country skiing waits for snow to fall, while hikers take to the trials and explore the lush mountain landscapes. Paragliding around the valleys is always breathtaking, but those breaths are a lot warmer in July than January. Cable cars in most resorts are open for both the warmest and snowiest months, making it easy to pop up to mountaintop restaurants.
