The chalet’s 700sqm interior was created by a renowned designer, Magali de Tscharner, and it shows. This is ultra-modern chic meets natural simplicity. A grand piano in the top floor lounge, floor-to-ceiling windows, a roaring fire, as much champagne you can quaff… all your wishes are granted, plus a few you hadn’t even thought of.
Chalet Les Anges feels comfortable and warm, making it perfect for family gatherings as well as large parties. It is filled with beautifully weathered reclaimed wood, and natural materials such as stone, marble and bamboo. The chalet staff ensure that everything is in hand, from warming your ski boots to arranging a babysitter. Your own world-class chef sends irresistible dishes out of the kitchen, from hearty breakfasts to tempting teatime treats and sumptuous evening meals. Menus can be tailored to suit your needs – just let the chef know. Fine wines, spirits and soft drinks are freely available.
Who needs hotels when you have exclusive use of an extensive wellness centre, complete with hammam, sauna, massage, relaxation room, and outdoor hot tub on the terrace. The chalet is also equipped with plenty to keep all ages entertained from, TVs, DVD player, Sky, games, books, toys and sledges. Chalet Les Anges even has an elevator.

Prepare your tastebuds for a treat when you arrive at Chalet Les Anges. Whether you hanker after a simple bowl of pasta, or an extravagant seven course meal, the Michelin star trained chef is at your service.
Using fresh local produce and regional delicacies, the aim is to go beyond expectations. Typical dinner menus include fresh fish, seasonal vegetables and local game. But if the suggested dishes don’t suit you, just let the chef know and everything will be tailored to your wishes. It starts with a cup of tea or coffee in bed, then an appetising breakfast. Returning from the slopes you are revived with afternoon tea, followed by pre-dinner canapés, and the main event: a knock-out evening meal. All of this is included, and dinner is served six nights of the week, giving you the opportunity to sample Zermatt’s restaurants.
Your glass of champagne is kept topped up, or if you prefer soft drinks, spirits or the carefully selected house wines, these are freely available too. If you desire a particular vintage, the a la carte wine menu has further options, for an extra cost, or you simply ask us for your favourite tipple in advance.

Once the excitement of exploring their A-list new home has died down, the children can get down to the serious business of having fun in the snow. There is a warm welcome for little ones at Chalet Les Anges and the dedicated staff are on hand to keep them happy.
There are plenty of sledges for days out in the snow, and in the evenings the toys and games, DVDs and the Wii can keep them entertained whilst you relax. The fabulous TV room, on the same level as the dining area and lounge, makes a perfect den where the kids can hang out. During the day, private ski or snowboarding lessons can be arranged for the older kids, whilst little ones can be looked after by a professional in-chalet childcare service.
The staff are only too happy to arrange babysitting if you want to go out for some grown-up time out. And there is no need to worry about mealtimes either – children’s suppers, cooked just for them, are all part of the service.
Not only did Chalet Les Anges win the ‘Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet’ category, but was also crowned ‘World’s Best Ski Chalet’ by The World Ski Awards in 2017, 2018 and again in 2019!
“Designed by renowned Swiss interior designer Magali von Tscharner, and sitting at the very edge of the Petit village area, ‘the Angels’ has a truly heavenly view of both the Matterhorn and Zermatt itself. With 700 square metres of living space over three stunning floors, all clad in reclaimed timber, it is a cutting-edge addition to the Zermatt portfolio.” – Fraser Yacht Magazine (Winter 2010)
“The food and drink is immaculate: Perrier-Jouët champagne or Hendrick’s G&Ts; home-mixed muesli; and gourmet meals. Baskets of tissues, candied fruit and sunblock wait by the boot room; staff clean your bathroom after your pre-dinner shower, so it’s pristine when you get back to your room later; and a detox breakfast awaits the morning after a big night in the Broken Bar beneath the Hotel Post…It is likely the only break in the smooth running of your holiday will be on a mogul field.’ – Brummell Magazine (Dec 2011)
