The name may conjure up images of Little Bo Peep, but Villa La Bergerie in the Terre Blanche Estate is more country mansion than shepherd’s den. Located within the grounds of a five star golf and spa hotel in scenic Provence, Villa La Bergerie is an independent privately owned, luxury villa, with world class facilities on the doorstep.
As you sweep up the driveway in the glow of evening, the impressive, floodlit façade of this classical villa cannot fail to take your breath away. Your hostess will greet you at the door and usher you in to the splendour of the hallway. A brief tour of Villa La Bergerie reveals spacious, light and airy rooms and a subtle blend of contemporary and antique furnishings. The generous living space, including a cinema room, will not fail to impress.
In the morning, the magical setting of Villa La Bergerie becomes clear. From the bedrooms you can gaze out over manicured gardens towards the sculpted greens and bunkers of the nearby golf course. From the huge living room you can walk through French windows to the swimming pool area, surrounded by cool cloisters. Just take a seat at the alfresco dining table, beside the summer kitchen, and relax.
If you were looking for a serene and peaceful retreat, run by dedicated staff, then you’ve found it. Chilling out by the swimming pool, dining on gourmet meals and napping under a shady tree might be enough for you, but there is plenty more to do and see. Apart from the golf course and the excellent spa facilities at the nearby Terre Blanche hotel, there is tennis, horse riding, and boating on the lake. You are close to the historic hilltop villages of Fayence, Seillans and Caillian, and only half an hour from Cannes.
Your host can book a range of activities, organise your transport and recommend local attractions. Whatever you desire, from in-house beauty treatments to a private swimming instructor for the kids, it can be arranged. The housekeeper and private chef are at your service, and everything at Villa La Bergerie is tailored to give you a truly personalised experience.
Further accommodation can be found in La Petite Bergerie, a two bedroom guest house overlooking the Terre Blanche golf course, sleeping up to 4 additional people in two twin/double en-suite bedrooms. La Petite Bergerie also features a private lounge with fireplace and natural stone flooring and glass doors which open out onto a private garden with terrace. An additional cost will apply when renting La Petite Bergerie alongside the main villa.
(Please note some images in the photo selection are of La Petite Bergerie).
Villa La Bergerie is a privately-owned villa, located on the Terre Blanche resort. La Bergerie is not affiliated with the nearby Hotel Terre Blanche Golf Spa Resort, other than its close proximity to its facilities. However, should Villa La Bergerie guests wish to use the hotel facilities (such as spa, golf, restaurants or tennis), they can access these as other member of the public, by paying for the use of the facilities at the resort.
Villa La Bergerie is located within the estate of the Terre Blanche golf resort, near Fayence in Provence. The nearest major airport is Nice, just 45 minutes away, and there is also a helipad just two minutes drive away from this luxury villa.
Alternatively, you can arrive by private jet to Cannes Mandelieu Airport which is 25 minutes away from Villa La Bergerie.

Your experienced private chef is at your service, available to cook up delicious meals as and when you want them with all food and drink charged as an additional charge. All tastes are catered for, so it’s up to you whether you wish to dine like royalty at every meal, or just keep it simple with the occasional celebratory feast.
Think fresh salads and vegetables from the local markets, bursting with flavour; trout from the lake and herbs from the garden. Just let your chef know the kind of food you like, and menus can be designed just for you. Children’s early teas are no problem at all, and if you just want barbecued chicken or fish and salads every day, you only have to ask.
From the villa’s elegant dining table you can see the busy kitchen staff putting the finishing touches on your food. But you may prefer to sit outside in the warm night air, around the sheltered dining table by the swimming pool. Here you will find an outdoor summer kitchen, complete with gas fired barbecue and everything a professional chef requires.
Although Villa La Bergerie is in a rural location, the nearby five star hotel restaurants are conveniently close if you fancy a change of scenery. The coastal resorts of Cannes and St. Tropez are just a half hour drive away, so a night out at a fancy Cote d’Azure restaurant is certainly tempting.
