Alpaga Hotel is located in the charming Alpine resort of Megève in the Mont-Blanc region of Haute-Savoie, in the French Alps.
The centre of Megève and the ski lifts are a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive, and the hotel runs a shuttle service around resort allowing you to get around easily.
The nearest airport is Geneva, which is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes drive away.

This luxury ski hotel has 22 rooms (split between two chalets) and 5 suites. All rooms and suites have a TV, minibar and safe.

Room categories:
Classic room – 25sqm.
Sleeping two guests, these rooms offer a king size bed, which can also be arranged as twin beds, along with an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower and a balcony or terrace. One room also has an interconnecting door for families or groups.
Deluxe room – 32sqm.
Sleeping two guests in king-size or twin beds along with an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower, these rooms also offer a balcony or terrace with views over the hamlet and mountains.
Prestige room – 40sqm.
These rooms sleep from 2-3 guests. Every room has a king-size bed, which can also be split into twin beds if required, and some also have a mezzanine level with a single bed. Interconnecting rooms (with a classic room) are also available. The prestige rooms have an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower and balcony or terrace with views over the hamlet.
Parental suite – 55sqm
Comprising a double room and children’s corner with bunk-beds these suites are ideal for a family of four, it offers a lounge, kitchen, balcony or terrace and en-suite bathroom with shower and bathtub.
Two bedroom suite – 60 – 80 sqm.
These suites have two bedrooms which can be configured with either king-size or twin beds and two en-suite bathrooms. Guests can opt for a suite either in the eaves or a ground level apartment. They also feature a kitchen, living area with wood-burner and balconies.
Three bedroom suite – 100sqm.
This suite sleeps up to six in three bedrooms. Two have king-size beds, whilst the third room is a twin bedroom. All have en-suite bathrooms with baths and showers. Situated on the ground floor it has a terrace with views of Mont Blanc as well as a kitchen and living area with wood-burner.
The Alpaga Hotel also has a number of chalets in Megève which can be rented on an exclusive use basis.
If food is your thing, you’ve come to the right place. Alpaga Hotel offers two distinctive dining options. Breakfast is served daily in the informal L’Onyx restaurant and you can also enjoy lunch and dinner here with a menu that changes daily.
In the afternoons the lobby bar and lounge is perfect for a warming après ski aperitif and there are plenty of quiet spots for reading or a game of chess.
For a fine dining experience, make a reservation at La Table de l’Alpaga, the hotel’s gastronomic restaurant.
The chefs take their inspiration from nature, working with individually sourced ingredients including Monts du Cantal pork, lake-caught fish, farm fresh eggs and Beaufort cheeses, to create seasonal delicacies. Vegetarians are well catered for too with excellent meat free menu options, which celebrate tomatoes, artichokes and chanterelle mushrooms. In warmer months, diners can eat on the terrace with beautiful views of Mont Blanc.
Children are well catered for at this luxury ski hotel. On arrival, they’ll be thrilled to discover an exciting gift in their bedroom. Little ones between the ages of three and twelve are invited to attend Hotel Alpaga’s Kids Club, which comprises a play space and living area designed with all their likes in mind.
Children can enjoy a lively programme of events and visits to places such as Prariand farm. There are also creative, fun activities such as cooking workshops, during the Christmas and February school holidays.
Each season, the Kids Club SMALLable team chooses the latest books, DVDs and games, which are available to junior guests.

Low and high seasons vary by location and by property, but the general pattern is as follows:
Chalets
Low season is usually early/mid-December, mid-January, plus the summer months.
Mid season is usually early February, March and April.
High season is usually Xmas, New Year and mid/end February.
European Villas
Low season is usually April, May and October.
Mid season is usually June and September.
High season is usually July and August.
Caribbean Villas
Low season is usually June to November.
