Because the apartment is set within the prestigious Mademoiselle hotel building, you have private access to several restaurants, a bar, cinema, Guerlain spa with a swimming pool, a fitness studio, juice bar and treatment area. Relaxing and rejuvenating body and soul couldn’t be simpler.
If you like a bit of adventure with your holiday, staff can arrange activities, including dog-sledding and helicopter rides as well as top notch ski instruction, and will also be happy to help with booking the best tables in the best restaurants.
There’s so much to enjoy in Val d’Isere and this apartment is superbly located for it all, but we think you’ll find it hard to tear yourself away from the cosy four walls of Chantemerle. The elegant interiors have a cosy but pared-back look with mediaeval style artworks and luxury fittings and furnishings to make your stay a study in comfort. And a butler is always on hand to plump your pillows, refresh your drinks and help in any way he can.
This is a truly wonderful retreat to return to when your skiing day is done. Once you’ve pampered yourself in the spa a while, enjoyed a private hammam shower back in the peace of your own en-suite bathroom and then changed and had drinks out on the balcony, with views of the Bailetta mountain, you’ll be ready to make the most of all that Mademoiselle and Val d’Isere has to offer by night.

Apartment Chantemerle is part of Les Airelles’ Mademoiselle hotel, the only five-star hotel in the area that allows guests to ski right up to the front door.
Mademoiselle is perfectly positioned for keen skiers who wake up itching to explore the mountain as the two central ski lifts, the Olympique and TC 10 in Solaise are located right by the hotel.
The nearest airport is Chambery which is just under 2 hours drive away. Both Geneva and Lyon are approximately 3 hours away.

Dining
Food is one of the most important parts of your stay and the staff will do all they can to ensure every mouthful is perfection.
In the mornings, a delicious breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant, with both hearty cooked meals and lighter options to cater to all tastes and ensure everyone is well fuelled for a morning on the slopes.
If you prefer a lazier morning and a late brunch, one of Mademoiselle’s three restaurants, JOIA, is an ideal setting; a concept restaurant that does fabulous brunches and lunches and great coffee. Or enjoy a morning meal sitting outside at La Terrasse and taking in the views.
In the evenings, Mademoiselle’s own Le Carnotzet serves traditional Savoyard dishes with a beautiful backdrop. Then round it off with a drink in the hotel’s own bar.
Room service can be arranged for those who prefer to eat in the privacy of their own apartment, and, of course, if you wish to explore Val d’Isere and make the most of its fabulous restaurant scene, staff will be pleased to help. Val d’Isere has a plethora of amazing restaurants. Among our favourites are L’Atelier Edmond and La Grande Ourse.

Kids
Chantemerle is a wonderful family suite with bunk beds for children who prefer to be close to their parents. Younger visitors are made most welcome here, where the staff are always willing to do all they can to keep children entertained and grown-ups happy as a result.
Mademoiselle has a brilliant kids’ club, The Children’s Kingdom, which is designed to look like a fairytale with giant mushrooms, fairy castles and more. It’s stacked with wooden toys, computer consoles, arcade games and lots besides, to keep kids of all ages busy. There are also workshops and activities they can take part in, from magic lessons and cookery to art and dog-sledding.
And when they need a quiet afternoon after a morning at ski school they can chill out with popcorn in the private cinema room or book into the spa for one of the treatments specially designed for 6-12 year olds. The Winter Bonding Treatment, which children can enjoy alongside their parent is always a big hit.
