Nestled in the Winkelmatten area of Zermatt, Apartment D’Amore is a wonderful bolthole for groups of family and friends looking to enjoy a self-catered ski holiday in one of Europe’s most iconic ski resorts.
You’ll feel right at home in no time at this contemporary and cosy apartment. The open-plan living area, with comfy leather sofas gathered around the roaring fireplace, give everyone somewhere to collapse after a tiring day on the slopes. From here, why not take your morning coffee or glass of bubbly in the evening out onto the balcony to enjoy your view of the majestic Matterhorn.
Nearby is a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare meals on nights when you prefer to stay in the comfort of your chalet. There’s also a welcoming dining area that seats eight.
When you aren’t out skiing, why not steal away and relax in the shared wellness area with a sauna and rainfall showers. This is located on the lower ground floor of the residence with lift access, shared with four other apartments.
Later in the evening, you’ll be pleased to retire to the comfy bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep. You’ll wake the next morning fully refreshed and ready for whatever the day might bring, whether that’s world-class skiing or simply a quiet wander among Zermatt’s cobbled streets and a bit of people-watching over lunch.
Apartment D’Amore is located in the Winkelmatten area of Zermatt with a shop, restaurant and children’s play area nearby. There is also free ski bus stop 240 metres away from the property.
The Klein Matterhorn ski lift is approx. 6mins walk away. The centre of Zermatt is a 12mins walk, where the main bars and restaurants are.
Zermatt is a car-free resort which has a railway station, so guests often arrive by train.
Geneva Airport is approximately 3 hours drive away.

Low season is usually early/mid-December, mid-January, plus the summer months.
Mid season is usually early February, March and April.
High season is usually Xmas, New Year and mid/end February.

Low season is usually April, May and October.
Mid season is usually June and September.

Caribbean Villas
