This cosy and comfortable luxury ski chalet in Val d’Isere is part of the exclusive Myrtille complex, which comprises seven apartments on the sought-after Olympic Avenue, at the edge of the Solaise forest.
The third-and fourth-floor apartment is pleasingly located within a hop skip and jump of both the old town and the shops and bars of Val d’Isere, as well as being close to the main ski lifta. And when your skiing day is done you can ski all the way back to the front door of your luxury chalet.
Inside, the property has a comfy and cosy feel, decorated in modern rustic style in a palette of neutral shades, that makes it very easy to relax in. A beautiful stone fireplace sits at the heart of the open-plan living space, bringing a welcoming warmth to the entire apartment. The living area has fabulously squishy sofas grouped around the TV, where you and your party can gather in the evenings to relax, put your feet up and catch up on all the events of the day.
Val d’Isere is blessed with many a lovely eaterie, but if you decide to dine in the comfort of your chalet, you’ll find the kitchen is beautifully equipped and keen chefs will enjoy some relaxed time putting together local ingredients for a feast for family and friends.
In the late evening, head out to one of the two balconies that lead off the living area and enjoy the views of Val d’Isere and the face de Bellevarde over a nightcap or two.
When you turn in for the evening, it’s to cosy ensuite bedrooms with spa-style bathrooms, luxury robes and slippers and thick duvets and linens to lose yourself in until morning. Sleep tight!
Location
This luxury ski chalet in Val d’Isere is one of the seven apartments that make up the Residence Myrtille on the sought-after Avenue Olympic. The property has ski-in access and the main ski lifts are an easy 5-10 minutes’ walk from the front door. The shops and old town of Val d’Isere are also just a few minutes’ walk away.
The nearest airports are Chambery, just under 2 hours drive and Geneva and Lyon, both of which are approximately 3 hours away.

The staff can also arrange for a pre-arrival shop to be delivered so you and your party have everything ready to cook up a storm when you get here. The kitchen has a dedicated wine fridge so there’s no need to worry about how big your delivery is!

If you’re travelling with children, Apartment Lorenzo makes for a great base for your luxury ski holiday. The bedrooms allow for flexibility and little ones will feel very cosy snuggling up in the bunk room. The lift makes getting up and down from the apartment with a buggy a cinch.
If you wish, the staff can arrange family events and activities and nannies and babysitters can be provided on request. Ski school and instructors can also be arranged for little ones of all abilities.
