Right in the heart of town and perched at the top of a prestigious building with wonderful views, Apartment Solaise is a rather special place from which to explore one of the world’s best ski areas. This luxury apartment in Val d’Isère is set within the Val d’Isère hotel, allowing you to enjoy ample space and privacy, but at the same time have all the convenience of hotel services.
Step inside, and you feel as though you might have been transported to a New York loft apartment, with dark woods, deep-coloured patterns and cosy soft furnishings. But a glance out of the floor-to-ceiling windows at the mountains and the pretty rooftops, tell you that you couldn’t be anywhere in the world but Val d’Isère.
The warm and welcoming open-plan spaces make Apartment Solaise, Val d’Isère, a very easy place to relax in and feel at home. A large, L-shaped seating arrangement in the living area makes for comfortable lounging, supplemented by fluffy armchairs and stools and even a hanging chair, with mountain views, by the log-burning fireplace.
Close by is a spacious dining area with large, square table and views out of the huge windows, and there’s also a smaller dining area adjacent to the kitchen – a great spot for a quick breakfast or to sit with a glass of wine and chat to whoever is playing chef for the evening. This apartment also has a lovely open mezzanine with sitting area and four single beds.
Dark woods and white bed linens bring a calm and sophisticated feel to the bedrooms. Some of the bedrooms have desk areas, others have en-suites with huge bath tubs. What they all have in common is that they are super comfortable and designed with deep sleep and maximum cosiness in mind.
As guests of the hotel, you can enjoy all the wonderful facilities, from spa with swimming pool, sauna, Hammam, gym and wellness rooms, to the beautiful cafe, which is open all day for your included breakfast, leisurely meals or a quick bite on your way to the mountains or into town. Staff are always on hand to help ensure your total relaxation, so all that’s left for you to do is enjoy this magical penthouse in the mountains.
