‘Contemporary cosy’ sums up this luxury ski chalet in a nutshell. Cala 201 is an apartment in a newly renovated building in the exclusive La Legettaz area, within a stone’s throw to the Solaise piste and guests can ski to within metres of the building.
Cala 201 sleeps 6 + 4 guests in four uber-comfy bedrooms, each with their own luxury spa-style bathroom, stocked with beautiful bath products and fluffy gowns and slippers, all carefully thought through to make your morning ablutions a pleasure.
On the upper floor is the open-plan living space, flooded with light from the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the piste. At one end is the modern refectory-style dining table, the perfect place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee over breakfast as you all plan your day.
At the other end is a huge, relaxing seating area with a circular fireplace and capacious sofas where you can relax, sprawl with the papers, curl up with a book or catch a film together. And just so there are no arguments over who watches what, there’s an extra TV snug off the bunk room, too.
In the evenings, head out onto one of the balconies with a glass of something fizzy in your hand to watch the lights twinkling in Val d’Isere and enjoy that fabulous mountain view from your snowy home-from-home.
Cala 201 is perched in the exclusive La Legettaz area in a smart new development overlooking the La Face piste.
The nearest lift, the Solaise, is a short stroll away and guests can ski to within metres of the building. The Olympique and resort centre are approximately 5 minutes or short bus ride away (nearest bus stop 15 metres from the building).
The nearest airports are Chambery, just under 2 hours drive and Geneva and Lyon, both of which are approximately 3 hours away.
