Description

Perched on the hillside near the lovely village of Arabba and surrounded by the towering peaks of the Dolomites, Cesa del Louf is a lovingly restored historic farmhouse. Brimming with charm and character, this luxury ski chalet is built from ancient wood and local stone, and every corner reveals another fascinating detail, such as antique locks and decorative antlers.

With its wooden beams and crackling log fire, the open plan living space is the heart of Cesa del Louf. Whether you’re whipping up a feast in the kitchen or curled up on the comfortable sofa, you’ll witness sunlight pouring in through the south-facing windows and breathtaking views of the summits. Outside, the wraparound balconies, terraces and large garden spaces allow you to get a closer look, or enjoy a sun-soaked barbecue in the warmer months.

Perhaps Cesa del Louf’s most impressive feature, however, is its 200m2 wellness area, residing in the atmospheric cellar with vaulted stone ceilings. It’s hard to choose between unwinding in the sauna, Hammam, whirlpool, relaxation area, or the indoor swimming pool with stunning views of the mountains. Once you’re fully relaxed, head to the cosy cinema for a movie night with loved ones.

The chalet accommodates 16 guests in five beautifully charming bedrooms across the maso (main house) and masetto (separate cottage). Some bedrooms have a mezzanine, ideal for little ones who need to be little closer to their adults; others have leafy plants and French doors leading out onto the terrace. Surrounded by pastures and woodland, and just a stone’s throw from tourist destinations Venice and Lake Garda, Cesa del Louf is the perfect base for summer alpine escapes and luxury ski holidays alike.
