Perched above the classy village of Meribel, Chalet Alya is a stunning self-catered chalet with every amenity you could wish for your luxury ski holiday. With stunning views across Les Trois Vallées, Chalet Alya was designed with luxury, well-being and family entertainment as its primary ethos.
Spread across four lavish floors, this five bedroom winter lodge not only offers you and your family consummate comfort but with the added luxury to ski in and out from the neighbouring Gelinotte piste, this home from home is a bit special.
Tucked away on its own hillside, the relatively new build has been built using local stone and clad in aged melez wood thus blending in beautifully with the chocolate box setting of Meribel and the French Alps.
Entering the toasty boot room after a day on the slopes, the waft of winter warmth greets you immediately. Slip on your complimentary slippers and wander upstairs into the fabulous open-plan living/dining area. The auburn light from the roaring fire dances across the room emitting its warmth to all four corners. The bespoke sofa clad in faux fur throws complements the stylish dining furniture and the adjoining kitchen completes that family friendly feel.
The five bedrooms are scattered across the four floors achieving privacy for all. Three luxury double en suite bedrooms fill up the second floor each with magnificent views across the valley from the chalet’s wrap-around balcony. The penthouse master suite with its own private balcony offers mesmerising views far across Les Trois Valleés. A huge super king size bed lies under the dramatic eaves of the roof adding that extra cosy je ne sais quoi.
No luxury ski chalet would be complete these days without a swimming pool and at Chalet Alya you won’t be disappointed. The 7m x 3m pool is accompanied with a beautifully crafted stone wall on one side and a cracking two storey arched window on the other, bringing the outside in and vice versa. An über cool feature lies above the steamy waters. Hanging off the mezzanine level lies a suspended bungee cage. Adorned with comfy cushions, it offers a splendid spot to while away the hours armed with a glass of bubbly whilst the kids play in the pool below.
Chalet Alya is situated beside the blue Gelinotte slope with ski-in/ski-out access, taking you directly to the main Chaudanne lift hub.
The nearest airports are Chambery which is approx. 1hr 20mins away, Lyon and Geneva approx 2hrs drive away.

There’s no shortage of entertainment for the children at Chatel Alya. Their favourite place will inevitably be the swimming pool and that awesome suspended cage but should they tire of that, pop them in their PJs and direct them towards the indoor football table.
