The wine and good times flow freely at Chalet Bacchus, as you would expect.
Brand new for the 2021 season, this contemporary chalet is perched right on the edge of the Belvedere piste, so you’ll never waste a moment getting to the snow when you could be on it and in it. The chalet is also only moments from the centre of Courchevel Moriond and its bars and restaurants.
This is a fabulous place for gatherings, big and small, with a double-height living space complete with comfy curved sofas, laden with cushions and throws to cosy up in in the evenings. A feature fireplace separates this from the atmospherically lit modern dining area, where you’ll enjoy fabulous local dishes cooked by your private chef, alongside fine wines, and good conversation. And it’s never too far to walk for another bottle; a huge wine cellar is on display in the same room and there’s also a stylish bar, ideal for post-dinner drinks, just steps away. From here, floor-to-ceiling glass doors allow the light to flood in and they also slide back to allow access to the balcony and its outdoor hot tub overlooking the slopes and views of the mountain.
After a day out on the slopes of the Three Valleys, a bit of rest and relaxation is essential and Chalet Bacchus is well-equipped to provide that. The whole of the lower ground floor is given over to a relaxation space, including a wonderful cinema room with tiered sofas where you can get together to watch a movie matinee in total comfort. Then there’s the spacious spa, with a swimming pool, sunken Jacuzzi, sauna, Hammam and treatment rooms. Nearby is a private heated courtyard where you can relax both body and mind between treatments and a swim.
At the end of the day, following a sumptuous meal created by your private chef, you’ll retire to luxury bedrooms each with a spa-style en-suite and balcony or terrace from which to enjoy the mountain air. Take your evening drink outside and gaze at the mountain and the stars before bedtime and get ready for sweet dreams of tomorrow’s adventures.
This luxury ski chalet in Courchevel 1650 is just off the Rue Belvedere, right on the Belvedere piste. It has a ski-in/ski-out location, so you’re only ever seconds from the snow, and it’s only a stone’s throw from the centre of Moriond.
The nearest airports are Chambery and Grenoble, both of which are approximately 2 hour’s drive, whilst Geneva is approximately 2hrs 30mins away.

Good foods and fine wines are a key part of your stay here, and it all begins with a gentle start to your day with tea and coffee served in bed. A hearty breakfast is then served to ready you for a day out on the piste; lighter options are also available.
When you return to your chalet, an afternoon tea with savoury and/or sweet treats is laid out waiting. On five nights of your stay, pre-dinner drinks and canapés are served while the chef cooks up a storm for you from local and seasonal ingredients. Your chef will be happy to consult with you beforehand about menus to ensure every meal will please everyone in your group.
Dinner is always served with a selection of chateau bottled house wines, but an a la carte wine list is also available if you’re looking for something a bit special. An open bar is stocked with wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks. And, of course, Perrier-Jouët Champagne is on tap whenever you fancy. It’s not called Chalet Bacchus for nothing!
You’ll have two evenings a week to sample the local restaurants and your chalet hosts will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.

After ski school or a few hours on the slopes, they’ll be more than happy to chill out back at the chalet. They might like to order popcorn to the cinema room with its fabulous tiered sofas – enough room for everyone to sprawl comfortably! Children of all ages will enjoy the private indoor swimming pool, too.
Come dinner time, your private chef will be happy to prepare an earlier children’s tea so that everyone can dine at a more leisurely pace.
