Chalet Caribou is close enough to the action to not miss out on any of the fun to be had in one of the world’s liveliest ski resorts, but in its own little enclave, meaning that when you’ve had enough of partying you can cosy up in your own private domain and enjoy some rest and relaxation, too.

The main living areas are pared-back and modern but with plenty of luxuries to up the cosy factor, as well as a roaring fire and mountain views. And, if you want to get up close and personal with that mountain view, there’s even an outdoor dining space on one of the large terraces where you can sit beneath blankets, drink in hand, and take in the mountain air.

On snowy afternoons, when you’ve returned from the slopes, take a few hours to chill out in the Hammam (within the master en-suite) or sauna, warming your bones and soothing aching muscles, before slipping into something comfortable and taking up residence on the sofa with friends and a few glasses of wine.
