As cosy and welcoming as it is stylish, this luxury ski chalet in Verbier strikes the perfect balance. Smart enough to feel special, with all the little luxuries you’d expect from an exclusive property like this, but casual enough that you feel right at home. A week here is like going to stay with an old friend. If what you’re in search of is some top-quality chilling out, you’ll find nowhere finer.
There’s plenty to do on the ‘entertainment’ floor of the chalet, with an indoor Jacuzzi where you can relax while you catch up with friends under the bubbles. The spa area is also home to a sauna and while you’re here, make sure you ask your masseur to spend an hour smoothing out knotty muscles and soothing ski-weary limbs.
This floor is also home to a fantastic games room and living space, complete with TV, pool table, darts board and a bar and mini kitchen for preparing ‘essential’ snacks to see you through the pool tournaments. It’s perfect for the kids to escape to while the adults enjoy the more refined surroundings of the upstairs living space – though they might have to kick the dads off the pool table first.
The main living area with its understated chic and pared-back Alpine style is a real shrine to comfort, with huge L-shaped sofas and squashy armchairs, all piled high with faux fur cushions, and gathered around a stone fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling windows open up onto the private terrace – a lovely spot to retreat to and watch the stars over a nightcap before heading to your oh-so-comfy bed and sweet and snowy dreams.
Part of the very exclusive Le Hameau development, Chalet Delormes is situated just 150 metres from Le Rouge Piste, 2 minutes’ drive to the Savoleyres lifts and 4 minutes to the Medran lifts. The centre of Verbier is five minutes chauffeured drive away.
The nearest airport is Geneva, approximately 2 hours drive away.

You’ll be sure of being well fed here. Each morning you can order from a menu of hot cooked breakfasts as well as helping yourself to yoghurts, cereals, fruit and homemade crusty breads and jams.
When you get back from your morning on the slopes, a slap-up afternoon tea will be waiting for you. Sit by the fire and warm up over tea, coffee and a selection of homemade cakes and savouries.
On six evenings, you and your party will be treated to canapés while your chef prepares a delicious four-course meal for you including a locally inspired cheeseboard to finish the evening off in style. All the menus are planned with your input to ensure there’s something everyone will enjoy and your chef will be happy to take into account any dietary requirements.
The staff at Chalet Delormes are rightfully proud of their wine choices. After a Champagne reception on arrival, you’ll enjoy a selection of wines, handpicked for you with your meal each evening. The chalet also has a supply of spirits, mixers, beers and soft drinks available. If you have any special requests such as a favourite tipple, we can have it stocked, at an additional cost.
For those travelling with younger visitors, your chef will be pleased to arrange a children’s tea earlier in the evening if you wish.

The flexibility of the bedrooms, which include two bunk rooms, makes accommodating everyone’s needs easy. One of the bunk rooms shares a bathroom with a double, making the three rooms ideal for use as a family suite.
The proximity to the slopes is a boon for those with young ones wanting to ski, and for those who wish to get straight to the main lifts, there’s a dedicated driver service to whisk you all straight there.
Back at the chalet, there’s plenty of space for both kids and grown-ups to do their own thing while still in each other’s company. The entertainment floor hosts a second living/games room with TV, pool table, darts board and mini kitchen bar for whipping up snacks and drinks – a perfect den for teens and tweens to hide out in: like having their very own apartment!
For those travelling with small babies, cots and highchairs are always available and nannies and babysitters can be arranged on request.
