As contemporary as it is supremely comfortable, Chalet Eglantine is a luxury winter bolthole you’ll be very happy to hunker down in for a week or so.
As part of the exclusive Le Coucou hotel in Meribel, guests of Eglantine are able to make the most of everything the hotel has to offer, including two wonderful restaurants – two of the best eateries in the town – and a fabulous spa with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness suites and treatment rooms.
But you also have the chance to enjoy all the benefits of a private escape. Arranged over four floors, this 590m² luxury ski chalet allows you to escape the busyness of the world around you and simply hunker down with good friends and family. Your dedicated butler will help take care of everything you need, whether that’s arranging activities, from husky sledding to cocktail making, fitting you for ski gear or booking a private chef to take care of your meals.
The chalet has a warm but thoroughly modern feel, with a pared-back living space with lots of comfy chairs and enough room for everyone to sprawl in front of the huge bay windows with views of the mountain. If you fancy getting a bit more ‘up close and personal’ with that mountain view, just take a turn out on the balconies, where you can breathe in the fresh mountain air, while cosying up with slippers and blankets on the terrace. There is also a TV room and a sweet play room for younger visitors, so everyone has their own space to retreat to.
The cream on the cake of this property, however, is the completely private spa. Its indoor swimming pool, Hammam, sauna and massage treatment room mean you can happily spend an entire afternoon here, relaxing and unwinding after a day on the slopes.
As night falls, watch the lights twinkle on over the town from your balcony view, and then retire to beautifully designed bedrooms with spa-style en-suites. Great sleep is guaranteed here, as are magical dreams about tomorrow’s adventures.
Perched above the Belvédère area of Meribel, this luxury ski chalet is set within Le Coucou hotel with ski-in/ski-out access.
Guests of Chalet Eglantine has direct access to the blue Doron piste, taking you to the main Chaudanne lift hub and ski school meeting points.
The nearest airports are Chambery, approximately 1hr 15mins drive away, Grenoble and Lyon approximately 2hrs away and Geneva approximately 2hrs 15mins away.

Hotel Le Coucou has two fabulous restaurants for you to enjoy. The Beefbar is a Mecca for meat lovers, serving a huge range of prestige meats, from Australian Wagyu to Japanese Kobe, all matured to perfection and served exactly as you like them. There are also lots of risotto, pasta dishes and child-friendly ideas on the menu, too. Then there is Biancaneve, offering a gastronomy of luxury and sharing, with chef Romain Guyot’s comforting dishes including exceptional, often local produce, featuring plenty of vegetables and, above all, uncommon generosity. The “banc de l’écailler” overflows with oysters and seafood, Sologne caviars, smoked salmon, and king prawns, exclusive to Méribel. The hotel also has a chic bar, beautifully designed and offering light meals and snacks as well as an impressive wine list and a great cocktail menu. And there’s even a fumoir for fans of cigars and spirits.
Chalet Eglantine also has its own very well-equipped kitchen, so if anyone in your party fancies themselves as a bit of an amateur chef, they’ll enjoy cooking up a storm here. Perhaps they’d like to buy some steaks from the Beefbar butchery shop on site?

Chalet Eglantine is a fabulous place for kids to enjoy. Younger ones will love the dedicated playroom with toys and games, perfectly equipped for little ones. There’s also a TV room, which makes a great place for bigger kids to hide away while the grown-ups are enjoying a bit of après-ski in the main living areas.
Children of all ages are certain to love splashing in the chalet’s private swimming pool. The hotel also has a spa and pool for the use of all its guests, too, but there’s nothing quite like having the entire pool to yourself in the comfort of your own chalet.
Being linked to a hotel has many more benefits, too. Children are welcome to join the Kids Club or Teens Lab, a trailblazer in fun and learning for young people. The kids club has its own colourful base that they’ll be raring to get to each day and lots of activities are organised, tailored to the children’s ages and interests; everything from arts and crafts to drama workshops, baking and perfume-making. Over at the Teens Lab, activities include baking, mocktail making and more.
The chalet comes with a concierge who will be more than happy to arrange nannies and babysitters, too.
