An impressive address requires an equally impressive service and Chalet Elbrus does not fail to deliver on that. This luxury ski chalet in Zermatt is part of the prestigious 7 Heavens residence, located right in the heart of Zermatt itself, a gentle stroll from both the lifts and the centre of town. And inside, everything is as high-end as you’d expect.
As modern as it is stylish, Chalet Elbrus is a dream for interiors fans. The living areas, with picture windows out to Matterhorn views, are truly spectacular – dark, textured walls and furnishings, leather seating and a wooden beamed ceiling make for a dramatic backdrop in the living area. In the dining space, Zebrano-style furniture brings texture and interest to the table.
On the top floor of the building is the private spa and wellness area. Relax in the sauna or generously sized indoor Jacuzzi and ease away any aches and pains picked up on the slopes. For those that take fitness seriously, take advantage of the exclusive gym for members of the complex downstairs. However, if you take your relaxation time a little more literally, you’ll very much enjoy the TV room, set up with the latest audio visual systems, and ideal for a cosy group film night.
On the subject of deep relaxation, the bedrooms are all equipped with Apple TVs and integrated sound systems, creating a little haven of your own to escape to whenever you wish, and a place where sleep should come easy.
The chalet has several balconies, promising wonderful mountain views and the freshest of fresh air. Whether enjoyed first thing in the morning with a freshly squeezed juice, or last thing at night with a nightcap as you watch the stars over Zermatt, it’s an experience that is sure to stay with you.
Chalet Elbrus is ideally located close the centre of Zermatt just moments from the shops, railway station and restaurants. The Sunnegga funicular is only a short stroll from the chalet and takes you directly up to the ski slopes in minutes.
Zermatt is a car-free resort which has a railway station, so guests often arrive by train.
