What better feeling is there than skiing straight to your door after an awesome day on the slopes, kicking off your boots and heading straight to the sauna or sinking into the Jacuzzi? That’s exactly what you can look forward to at Chalet Ganga, a luxury eight-bedroom chalet with direct access to the slopes and just a five-minute walk from the centre of Tignes le Lac.
Newly renovated for the 23/24 winter season, Chalet Ganga is an ideal option for a larger group of family and friends looking for an elegant space to enjoy together. As well as the atmospheric wellness zone, there’s also a small entertainment area where you can spend your evenings playing poker, billiards or darts, or simply chilling with a movie in the TV snug and a few drinks from the bar.
Up on the top floor, the open-plan living/dining area is a sociable space with plump sofas set around a large TV and feature fireplace and a 16-seater dining table that comes with views over Tignes to the mountains beyond. When it comes to laying your head at night, each of the eight owner-designed bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom and access to the balcony.
The relaxed vibe is enhanced further by the fact that the chalet is fully catered, so nobody needs to lift a finger. Hearty breakfasts, a welcome afternoon tea, pre-dinner drinks around the fire and stand-out chef-prepared dinners play a big part in the luxury experience.
Chalet Ganga has a ski-in/ski-out location alongside the Almes piste. It’s just a five-minute walk into the centre of Tignes Le Lac, where you’ll find restaurants, bars and shops.
Transfers from Chambery airport take approximately one hour 30 minutes, while the drive from Geneva airport is around three hours.
