Step inside, take a look around and prepare to be knocked out by the stunning living room, but just wait till you see the basement.
Glide down in the elevator and step into a unique private wellness centre. Carved out of the rock face, the inviting indoor swimming pool feels like a secret grotto, equipped with water jets and ambient lighting. Nearby is a state-of-the-art Hammam, ready to melt away all the aches and pains of a hard day’s skiing. You can easily switch the mood from tranquillity to revelry with the state-of-the-art sound system. Hmmm…. It sounds like the perfect place for a pool party.
Bedrooms are all richly and elegantly furnished, and the chalet works well for families or groups of friends. You don’t all have to socialise together, as there is a separate TV room, as well as a big south-facing balcony.
The open plan living area has the huge timbers of an ancient barn, and the ethereal light of a cathedral. It is filled with modern comforts such as a massive central fireplace and deep comfy sofas to relax on.
Location
Chalet Genepy is a 10mins walk (or 5mins chauffeured drive) from central Val d’Isère, and approx. 10mins walk to the Bellevarde Express lift.
Chambery airport is just under 2 hours drive and Geneva Airport is approximately 3 hours drive away.

Dining
Your private chef and host will ensure your evening meals are all meals to remember at Chalet Genepy.
Freshly prepared breakfast and afternoon tea are offered daily, keeping you fuelled before and after a hard day’s ski. When you come home you’ll find a freshly prepared afternoon tea waiting for you.
On five evenings, guests can expect exquisite pre-dinner canapés with a glass of Champagne, followed by superb gourmet dinners elegantly served with the crackle of the fire in the background. If you or any members of your party have any dietary requirements you need only let the staff know prior to arrival.
A family-style dinner is offered one evening, giving you a more relaxed dining experience and try a traditional Savoyard dish such as fondue or raclette, or enjoy a home-cooked comfort food. You’ll then have one evening to sample the local restaurants and your chalet host will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.
The chalet has a complimentary bar serving Champagne, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks.
If you are a group of 10 adults plus children, please note that an early children’s dinner will be served as the dining table can seat up to ten at a time.

On the chef’s night off, there is a complimentary babysitting service available if you wish to head into town without little ones, safe in they knowledge that they are being well looked after. Additional childcare during your holiday can be arranged on request.
Cots and highchairs can be provided for those travelling with babies and toddlers.
