Nestled amongst the trees, Chalet Haapiti is tucked away in the Dou du Pont area, yet only moments away from the beautiful and vibrant resort of Meribel. On the odd occasion, you may even be lucky enough to see deer pass by, sometimes even from the pool area. This luxury snow front property also offers sublime views of mountains, inviting you to enjoy one of the best ski areas in the world.
Inside, you’ll find a cozy open-plan living area with its high beams and roaring fireplace at the heart of the chalet. Rustic woods and rough-hewn stone bring a combination of natural charm and Alpine chic to this well-appointed winter lodge, giving a cosy and welcoming ambiance. The living room with stylish and comfy seating area is focused around a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling glass doors, allowing light to flood in.
A heavenly dip in the private indoor swimming pool is just the ticket after a day hurtling down the slopes. If you haven’t pushed yourself hard enough, there is also a gym if you wish to maintain your fitness regime.
At the end of each evening, after a nightcap in front of the fire or on the terrace, it’s time to turn in for the night. To ensure you sleep long and soundly, each bedroom is designed with comfort in mind, with puffy duvets and luxury bath products, ready to make the most of everything Meribel has to offer in the morning.
Due to its peacefully secluded location, guests should be advised that access to Chalet Haapiti may be challenging in heavy snow conditions, especially those travelling with children or guests with reduced mobility.

This winter retreat is situated in the private Dou du Pont area of Meribel, peacefully tucked away amongst the trees. Meribel centre is a short walk away, approx. 200m and the Chaudanne lift hub is approx. 400m away, although you’ll have an in-resort driver service during your stay.
The nearest airports are Chambery which is approx. 1hr 20mins away or Lyon and Geneva approx. 2hrs drive away.

Chalet Haapiti sleeps 8 adults + 4 children in five bedrooms.
Bedroom 1:
Master bedroom on top floor with en-suite bathroom, balcony and TV.
Bedrooms 2 & 3:
Double bedrooms on ground floor each with en-suite bathrooms, balconies and TVs.
Bedroom 4:
Double bedroom on ground floor with en-suite bathroom and TV.
Bedrooms 5:
Kids’ dorm room (sleeps four in single beds) on lower ground floor with TV and separate bathroom.
Dining
A dedicated host and chef will keep you well fed and watered throughout your stay at Chalet Haapiti.
A hearty breakfast will fuel you each morning with cooked options on offer five mornings. When you return, afternoon tea will be laid out on five days.
On five evenings, canapés and drinks are served while your chef prepares an elegant meal for you. The chef will be in touch prior to your stay to discuss any allergies or dietary requirements, and can also prepare early dinners for children. Carefully selected wines will be paired with your evening meals.
You’ll have two evenings to sample the local restaurants of Meribel on staff days off and your chalet host will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.

Kids
All children dream of escaping to a winter wonderland. Being surrounded by fluffy snow and hidden amongst the trees, Chalet Haapiti does not disappoint.
Outside, they can build an army of snowmen and challenge adults to snowball fights. When it is time to come inside, fresh faced and rosy cheeked, the private indoor swimming pool will be a huge hit should they have any left-over energy from a busy day.
In the evenings, junior guests will enjoy hunkering down in the dorm room with their own TV, so adults can relax upstairs.
