A contemporary, cosy bolthole for a group of friends or family, close to some of the world’s best slopes? It ticks a lot of boxes for a luxury ski holiday. Here’s a bit more about Chalet Hermine Blanche…
The shared spaces at luxury ski chalet provide plenty of space for everyone to kick back. Capacious, boxy sofas stretch out in front of the huge floor-to-ceiling windows with mountain views, close to the roaring fire. Modern-rustic style gives the communal spaces a really relaxing feel, with warm woods and textural stone bringing a laid-back atmosphere. There are plenty of places to curl up with a book alone, as well as lots to keep you busy.
The huge TV and sound system make movie nights together a real pleasure and, after a long day on the slopes, there’s nothing like a few hours spent down in the spa. Soak in the Jacuzzi and then warm your muscles in the Hammam and sauna, or perhaps indulge in a massage to soothe any slopes-weary limbs in the afternoons.
In the evenings, when you come back from a night exploring Le Fornet or Val d’Isere, take a glass of something bubbly out onto the terrace and either hop in the outdoor Nordic bath or just enjoy the starscape. When you retire to bed it’s to luxury bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, each designed with boutique hotel chic in mind. There’s no better recipe for sweet dreams.
Chalet Hermine Blanche is located in Le Fornet, an idyllic village just outside the popular resort of Val d’Isere and approx. 200 metres from the nearest ski lift, Télécabine du Fornet.
Chambery airport is approximately 2 hours drive away whilst Geneva is approximately 3 hours away.
