Commanding spectacular views of the mountains from it’s sunny, south-facing lounge, Chalet Iamato is the 3 Valleys’ perfect home away from.
The chalet is designed in traditional Savoyarde style, with plenty of warm pine and soft, cosy furnishings. Huge bay windows in the lounge and several of the bedrooms mean the rooms are soaked in sunlight throughout the day and enjoy views of the stary skies at night. A neutral colour scheme complements the exposed beams and wood-clad walls, while shaggy rugs and patterned fabrics add warmth and make the chalet feel like a welcoming social space.
Perhaps the biggest selling point of Chalet Iamato is its south-facing terrace. Chuck your boots on the heated boot warmers downstairs, then hop in the outdoor hot tub and relax after a long day on the slopes. With uninterrupted mountain views, this is the perfect spot to enjoy the last of the afternoon sunshine. Later, get the evening fun started with a few drinks on the outdoor sofas, or challenge friends and family to a game of table football.
To ensure you’re fully fuelled on your luxury ski holiday, your private chef and chalet hosts will take care of all the cooking and catering, leaving you free to focus on socialising, skiing and the epic mountain scenery.
Location
Chalet Iamato is located in the heart of peaceful Meribel Village, just 300m from the Golf chairlift. On skis, the village is accessed by the blue Lapin piste, which makes the area perfect for families.
The main Meribel resort is approximately 5 minutes drive and a shared driver service is available to shuttle guests each day.
The nearest airports are Chambery, approximately 1hr 15mins drive away, Grenoble and Lyon approximately 2hrs away and Geneva approximately 2hrs 15mins away.

Dining
We’re firm believers that food and drink are all part of the luxury ski holiday experience. Thankfully, with a dedicated chef and two hosts to keep you well-fed and ensure glasses always topped up, you can rest assured mealtimes will certainly be a highlight here.
You will be welcomed to the chalet with a Champagne reception, showcasing a level of service and attention to detail that you can expect to continue throughout your stay.
Each morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day with hot options offered five days a week and continental spread on your hosts’ days off. When you get back after a day on the slopes, there will be afternoon tea and cakes to refuel you.
On five nights of the week canapés are served before an indulgent four-course dinner, complete with a choice of unlimited handpicked wine. On your hosts’ evenings off, they will still make sure you’re looked after by recommending and booking some of Meribel’s best restaurants for you.

Kids
Family friendly Meribel Village is the perfect setting for a ski holiday with little ones in tow, and Chalet Iamato’s location just meters from the village’s Golf chairlift makes this the ideal basecamp.
There is plenty at Chalet Iamato to keep the children entertained, namely the hot tub, table football and table tennis sets out on the terrace. Inside, there is also a TV with UK options, and a selection of board games that make for good old-fashioned family fun.
We know how difficult it can be to round up and ready kids each morning, but thanks to the in-resort driver service to and from the ski school meeting point the Chaudanne in Meribel, you needn’t worry.
Later on, a day in ski school makes for hungry kiddos, so thankfully your chef will prepare an earlier home-cooked tea for them. A win-win since it means adults can also dine in peace.
