Chalet Kantaa is a luxury chalet that’s full of surprises. From the outside, this quintessential alpine lodge is charming and characterful – when dusted in snow, surrounded by mountain peaks and forested slopes, it looks like a beautiful Christmas card. Inside, it’s a stylish display of design, with some seriously cool entertainment spaces to boot; the bar and spa give off real Gatsby vibes.
On the top floor, the large lounge is light and contemporary, with picture windows showcasing the stunning views at every opportunity. A modern black steel log burner takes centre stage, and quirky yet sophisticated details – from the blown-glass art to the colour-pop rugs – add a playful feel. The chalet is self-catered and guests will love creating feasts for all the family in the gorgeous fully equipped Gaggenau kitchen. Outside, a roomy terrace is the perfect spot to curl up with a warm mug of chocolate or a glass of vin chaud.
Rooms at Chalet Kantaa are the kind you’d find in a luxe boutique hotel, featuring cosy seating areas or workspaces, and high-spec en-suite bathrooms. There are four double bedrooms – including two master suites with terraces – and a bunk room sleeping six guests.
The lower floors of this luxury ski chalet have a distinctly more seductive feel. This is where you’ll find the swanky bar and games room, plush cinema and subterranean-style spa, complete with gym, indoor Jacuzzi, Hammam and massage room.
Location
Chalet Kantaa is located in Rochebrune area, at the edge of Megeve. The nearest Capucine piste is approximately 100 metres away, where you can ski down to the Rochebrune lift station.
You’ll have the best of both worlds; a rural location overlooking a protected natural reserve, with easy access to Megeve’s particularly picturesque village square with its traditional buildings and horse-drawn sleighs.
It’s around 1 hour 15 minutes from Geneva airport.

Twin bedroom on lower ground floor with en-suite shower room (please note this bedroom does not have a window but a small skylight).
Dining
Chalet Kantaa is offered on a self-catered basis, so guests have the flexibility to dine how, where and when they choose. The sleek and stylish kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to rustle up your favourite dishes.
If, however, you prefer a more relaxed experience on your luxury ski holiday, a private chef service can be arranged on request. Whether you want five-course gourmet dinners or simple family meals to eat in a less formal setting, your chef will be able to arrange it for you.
