You’ll enter into the spacious lounge where cosy designer sofas around the open fireplace create that addictive ‘can’t get up’ feeling.
The entire back of the chalet boasts a spectacular view down into the Meribel valley. With panoramic vistas of both the Tougnette and Cherferie ski slopes, the sprawling wrap around balcony is the ultimate spot for catching up with friends. The beautiful sun terrace seating area on the lower floor takes full advantage of the chalets south-facing space. Succumb to relaxation, and enjoy a glass of something delicious whilst you linger over the last few pages in your book in the sunken hot tub. Here is a place to feel entirely immersed by your surroundings, and to just be.
Chalet La Chouette is built for large groups, with 7 bedrooms it sleeps up to 14 guests comfortably. With a trained and experienced team on hand, they add that extra sprinkle of indulgence that takes your stay from amazing, to exceptional. The chalet sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, in an exclusive area of Mussillon in Meribel. The vibrant resort centre and lift stations can be reach within just a few minutes’ drive. The location of La Chouette is ideal for those after the best of both worlds. It’s private and tranquil, yet close to the hustle and bustle of Meribel centre.
A huge perk of La Chouette is your in-resort driver to help get you between the chalet, the ski slopes and the resort centre, so you’ll never need to carry your skis.
The nearest airport is Chambery which is 1hr 15mins drive away. Lyon and Geneva are both approximately 2 hours’ drive away.

Dining
Start your day slowly with wake-up drinks brought to your bedside as the sun starts to creep round the chalet. We’re sure that the smells of cooked breakfast will get you moving, especially those with a big morning appetite. If you just want something small, a selection of continental breakfast options is also presented. When you trundle in all tired and hungry in from the slopes, freshly baked afternoon tea will be waiting for you… bliss.
The chalet’s professional chef creates an entirely tailored fine-dining menu to your tastes five nights a week. Savour the pre-dinner canapés and aperitif in front of the open fire whilst the chef cooks up a three-course storm. Your in-chalet host will make sure your drink is never empty, informing you about the wine pairings that have been carefully selected to compliment your dining experience. If you’re not already too stuffed to move, there’s a final course of hand-picked local cheese and port to enjoy.
You’ll hopefully feel satisfied with the large selection of complimentary bar drinks, from pre-dinner drinks to premium spirits, cocktails and house wines. There is also a large selection of fine wines available for purchase from the cellar.

Kids
La Chouette makes a good base for a family ski holiday, particularly with teens and older children who can entertain themselves but want to make the most of this great ski location. There’s plenty of space over the four floors for kids to play and for adults to have tranquil space too.
The deck is the perfect play area for the little ones, particularly as the adults can keep watch from the hot tub. We’re sure the kids will want to have a splash around in the sunken tub too! After a long day on the slopes, youngsters may well be worn out straight after dinner, but if not, the private cinema room is the perfect spot for a night time snuggle and film.
The concierge team will help you arrange for childcare should you wish to enjoy an adults-only evening out.
