Like being wrapped in a big hug, Chalet La Folie is comfy and cosy in equal measure. This modern, luxury ski chalet in Meribel is full of Alpine appeal, from the sledges and sheepskin rugs to the roaring fire.
The open-plan living space is the beating heart of this home, with huge, squashy sofas and armchairs gathered around the wood-burning fireplace in the seating area, as well as a modern kitchen and a cosy dining area with a refectory-style table for everyone to gather round for delicious meals cooked by your private chef. A bar area provides a welcoming corner for a cocktail while you catch up on everyone’s daily adventures. In the daytime, the whole area is filled with sunshine that streams through the huge windows and by night, the living spaces are lit with pretty, twinkly lights.
Outside, a large terrace with hot tub provides a quiet spot for you to enjoy a soak with a glass of bubbly or simply relaxing in one of the chairs to try a bit of star-gazing.
If you like your down-time with a little side order of fun, head to the TV room to catch a film from the comfy sofas, pour yourself a drink from the bar in the games room and get involved in a snooker or foosball championship, or head to the gym area for a quick workout. And if you want to escape it all and simply relax, you can soothe both body and mind in the sauna.

This luxury ski chalet in Meribel is located on Routes des Chalets, approximately 150 metres from the Doron piste. The centre of Meribel with its shops, bars and restaurants is a quick five-minute drive.
The nearest airport is Chambery, 1 hour 15 minutes away. Lyon, Grenoble and Geneva are all around 2 hours’ drive away.

Dining
Good food and fine wines are a key part of life at Chalet La Folie. Each morning you’ll wake to a filling cooked or continental breakfast prepared by your chef to get you ready for a day on Meribel’s slopes.
When you return in the afternoon, tea, coffee and freshly baked treats will be laid out waiting for you to warm you through. You’ll just have enough time to relax in the hot tub or sauna before drinks and canapés are served, followed by a delicious four-course evening meal. Complimentary wines, beers and soft drinks are on tap, as well as bottles of premium house spirits.
On your chef’s day off, the chalet’s staff will be happy to help with recommending and making restaurant bookings for you.

There’s plenty to keep them busy at La Folie, including a light and spacious games room with snooker table as well as table football, and TV corner where they can catch a movie matinee.
Your chef will be happy to prepare an early kids’ supper with dedicated children’s menus on six days of seven.
Four of the five bedrooms can be configured as twin rooms, too, giving family groups lots of flexibility.
