Is this higgledy piggledy wood and stone house the home of a weather-beaten French farmer? Perhaps there are chickens and a couple of cows out back? But no. Take a closer look at Chalet Le Lièvre Blanc and you will see it is a beautifully-constructed luxury chalet, meticulously fashioned from old materials and influenced by the rustic style of old Val d’Isere.
By contrast, stepping inside Chalet Le Lièvre Blanc is like entering an interior designer’s winter retreat. It’s all cosy luxury, eclectic with hand-made furniture. Bold colours and natural materials feature in the sumptuous bedrooms, and the top floor living space is double-height and light-filled yet cosy. The open-plan living space is sociable and ideal for a gathering of friends, with a roaring fireplace to keep you toasty on wintry evenings.
This luxury ski chalet is tantalisingly close to the slopes so you can be out in the snow within moments in the morning. And when your muscles start to feel the strain, you can be back at your luxury in no time and relax in the Hammam. You’ll emerge feeling like a completely new person in no time.
Chalet Le Lièvre Blanc is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Val d’Isere and the Bellevarde ski lift.
The nearest airpots are Chambery which is just under 2 hours drive away and Geneva which is approximately 3 hours away.
