Each morning, you’ll be greeted by wake-up drinks, brought to your bedside by one of the chalet’s dedicated staff members. A delicious cooked breakfast prepared by your private chef is next on the list. You can enjoy it around the grand dining table or on the south-facing terrace, with panoramic views. It’s the ideal way to set you up for another day of hurtling down the slopes on your luxury ski holiday.
Later, when you’ve had your fill of exploring the famous Three Valleys ski area, you can head back to your luxury ski chalet and flop into one of the inviting oversized sofas by the open stone clad open fire.
You might drift back out to the terrace for sundowners before a four-course dinner is served at the over-sized solid wood dining table. Or you might steal away to the ground floor spa room. Feast your eyes on the sunken Jacuzzi, sauna and tranquil seating area. If that’s not enough, indulge in a massage in the private treatment room, just the ticket for easing tired ski muscles.

Chalet Lightbowne is located in Mussillon which is approximately a 10 minute walk from the centre of Meribel or 2 minute chauffeured drive.
The nearest airport is Geneva, approximately a 2h 10m drive away. Grenoble is about 2h away.

Dining
Foodies will be in their element at this luxury ski chalet with private chef. Believe us when we say that food and drink are a big deal here. Each morning you’ll be greeted with a bed-side wake up drink followed by a cooked and continental breakfast to set you up for the day. You’ll return from the slopes to afternoon tea, which you can enjoy in front of a roaring fire as the snow falls outside of your luxury ski chalet.
You really won’t get the chance for hunger pangs at Chalet Lightbowne. As your private chef cooks up a storm in the kitchen five evenings a week, you and your party can enjoy canapés and an aperitif, chosen from a selection of pre-dinner champagne, premium spirits and cocktail selection.
You’ll enjoy a fine dining menu paired with selected house wines on your luxury ski holiday at Chalet Lightbowne. To round the evening off, you’ll be treated to a selection of local cheeses and port. Should you wish to try something more special, a selection of premium wines are available at additional cost.
The staff have two days off a week at this luxury ski chalet, allowing you to explore the restaurants in nearby Meribel, alternatively a Raclette evening can be arranged for an additional cost.
