The property is a 3mins chauffeured drive from the centre of town and the nearest ski lift (La Daille) is just a 2mins drive away. The L’Olympique and Solaise Express lifts are each a 3mins drive from the front door.
The nearest airports are Chambery, just under 2 hours drive and Geneva and Lyon, both of which are approximately 3 hours away.

Dining
You can be assured of always being well fed at this luxury ski chalet. Whether you want gastronomic delights or something much more simple, and whatever your whims, needs or wishes, your chef will devise a menu that’s perfect for you.
Each morning at Chalet Machapuchare, you’ll come down to a cooked or continental breakfast that is sure to set you up for a day on the slopes. Graze on muesli, yoghurt, cheeses and deli meats and beautiful fruit platters, or indulge in a cooked breakfast or the daily hot special.
When you return from your skiing day afternoon tea will be laid out waiting for you. Then, on five evenings, pre-dinner canapés and Champagne are served while your chef prepares a three-course gastronomic meal for you and your fellow guests, rounded off with a local cheeseboard. Dinner is accompanied by European wines and finished with a coffee or digestif by the fire.
A family-style dinner is offered one evening, giving you a more relaxed dining experience and try a traditional Savoyard dish such as fondue or raclette, or enjoy a home-cooked comfort food. You’ll then have one evening to sample the local restaurants and your chalet host will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.

Kids
There’s so much for children to do at this luxury ski chalet. In the afternoons they’ll love splashing in the pool or catching a movie matinee in the cinema room.
Your chef will prepare a dedicated children’s tea each day in the early evening, catering to the fussiest of fussy eaters and allowing little ones to enjoy a relaxed meal where they don’t have to be on their best behaviour… And later on, the grown-ups can enjoy a more relaxed meal post-bedtime.
On the chef’s night off, there is a complimentary babysitting service available if you wish to head into town without little ones, safe in they knowledge that they are being well looked after. Additional childcare during your holiday can be arranged on request.
Cots and highchairs can be provided for those travelling with babies and toddlers.
