Welcomes don’t come much warmer than they do at Chalet Margaux, a luxury ski chalet in Courchevel 1850 that has a proper ‘family home’ feel and oozes cosy charm.
Rich woods and handpainted interiors give this beautiful property traditional good looks, and you’ll feel right at home in this sprawling house that’s perfect for a large family gathering or a winter holiday with friends.
In the spacious living area, an impressive fireplace forms the heart of the room. With capacious sofas gathered around, it’s a sociable space for you to celebrate together, relax or just catch up at the end of a day’s skiing. Adjacent is a complimentary and well-stocked bar, and an elegant dining room where your talented chef will serve delicious gourmet fare in the evenings under the twinkling chandelier.
But there’s also plenty of space to find a little peace and quiet, too, from the study and snug area where you can curl up with a book or watch a film, to the cosy indoor Jacuzzi, everyone will find a little nook to call their own whenever they want.
This luxury ski chalet is ideally situated on the Cospillot Piste, perfect for snow bunnies who don’t want to waste a moment indoors when they could be on the slopes. For younger guests or those who prefer to take things a little easier, the chalet is stocked with books, games and other delights to keep everyone entertained.
In the evenings, take a nightcap out onto the balconies to experience the best of the mountain air and the heady smell of the pine forests, before turning in for the night to beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms, where we guarantee you’ll have sweet dreams.
This luxury ski chalet is situated in the sought-after private Hameau de Bellecote estate, tucked away in a peaceful spot. However, it’s right on the Cospillot piste with ski-in/ski-out access, so you can be out exploring the mountains in moments.
The nearest airport is Chambery, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive, whilst Grenoble and Lyon airports are approximately 2 hours 10 minutes and Geneva airport is 2 hours 20 minutes drive away. Moutiers rail station is also just 30 minutes’ drive.
There is also an altiport in Courchevel 1850 for those travelling by helicopter or private jet.

Fine food and drink are one of the pillars of everyday life at Chalet Margaux. The talented chefs are chosen from top restaurants and will use only the best gourmet ingredients to create imaginative and creative menus.
Each morning starts with smoothies, fresh coffees and teas to rouse you from your beds and then cereals, yoghurts, porridge, cheese and cured meats, fresh fruit salad and homemade pastries, breads and jams. That morning feast should see you through until you return from the slopes for an afternoon tea of homemade cakes and biscuits in the sitting room.
Dinner is provided on six nights of your stay at Chalet Margaux. On five evenings, Champagne and canapés are served while your chef prepares a gourmet four-course meal. A family-style dinner is offered one evening, giving you a more relaxed dining experience and try a traditional Savoyard dish such as fondue or raclette, or enjoy a home-cooked comfort food.
Your hosts want you to feel truly at home here so all meals and menus can be tailored to your needs and wishes and tea, coffee and alcoholic drinks are all on tap whenever you want them.
On your chef’s night off, the staff will be happy to assist with restaurant bookings. We especially love the two-Michelin-starred restaurant at Le Chabichou.
