Prepare to be spoilt at this luxury ski chalet in Meribel, where every detail has been carefully considered to offer total comfort and relaxation. Chalet Marielaine is a charming stone and timber Savoyard-style chalet with a beautiful mountain backdrop.
The floor plan follows a homely layout, with the three cosy ensuite bedrooms on the first floor, each beautifully furnished with a modern alpine décor. The ground floor is dedicated to a generous open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge. A large feature fireplace provides a focal point around which to gather or curl up with a good book, and on sunny days the double doors can be flung open to the terrace so you can breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Outside, the garden is a lovely space with a covered sunken hot tub and a wooden barrel sauna secluded between the chalet and the slopes.
For larger group ski holidays, Chalet Marielaine can be hired together with sister properties Chalet Brioche and Chalet Mariefleur (subject to availability) to accommodate up to 28 guests.
Chalet Marielaine is situated in an exclusive cul-de-sac in Mussillon, towards the edge of Meribel. It occupies the same building as sister property Chalet Brioche and is next door to Chalet Mariefleur.
The chalet is well located, and guests can reach the town and ski lifts in a 15-minute walk. But the use of an in-resort minibus service (8am to 8pm) to get you to and from the slopes, town centre and après-ski bars means there’s no need to walk anywhere. A local ski bus also runs until midnight for those evenings when you simply lose track of time.
The nearest airports are Chambery, which is approx. 1 hour 20 minutes away, and Lyon and Geneva, both around 2 hours away.

The self-catered option gives you the freedom to eat out on several nights of the week, ideal for trying out some of Meribel’s restaurants. If you like to rustle up your own home cooked meals, you’ll find the kitchen more than suitably equipped.
If you book the chalet on a ‘contactless catering’ basis, you’ll arrive at your new home-from-home to find the kitchen stocked with freshly prepared dishes for you to reheat, and local ingredients for salads and sides. There are enough supplies for breakfast and afternoon tea every day, three-course dinners (with nibbles and cheese) on six nights.
