Cocooned in a pretty little hamlet but with the awesome views of a much bigger location, this luxury serviced ski chalet in Meribel is a real treasure. Chalet Menor is a traditionally conceived chalet but with thoroughly modern fixtures and fittings and a dose of healthful Scandi vibes bringing fun and relaxation to the Savoyard style of this beautiful wood-clad property.
The indoor swimming pool is breathtaking: simple, stylish and relaxing, with floor-to-ceiling windows that look onto the mountain and open right back for a blast of fresh air while you swim.
A few metres into the garden is a barrel sauna. If you can brave the snow, it’s a treat for aching legs and a wonderful place to go to restore body and mind in the afternoons. There’s also an outdoor hot tub and terrace, perfect for lounging around and in with a few glasses of bubbly as the sun sets.
The chalet has fabulous terraces with stunning views of the side of the mountain, which can also be enjoyed from the stylish and contemporary dining area nearby.
The cosy open-plan living area is centred on a huge fireplace with stacks of logs always ready to keep the flames licking as you and your guests gather on the capacious sofas to chat, enjoy a drink and catch up on all the events of the day.
The beautiful bedrooms are each just as relaxing as you would expect them to be, with soft, comfy beds and well-appointed bathrooms with a spa feel.
Location
Chalet Menor is located in the Mussillon neighbourhood at the entrance of Méribel, 200 metres from the free bus stop to the resort centre. An in-resort driver service is also offered during your stay from 8am – 8pm (until 10pm on staff day off) to drive you anywhere within the Meribel Valley.
Its location puts you right at the centre of the huge Three Valleys ski area, giving you access to a raft of lifts and 600km of pistes, connected by the summits of the surrounding mountains.
The nearest airports are Chambery which is 1h 15m away, Lyon 1h 55m and Geneva, a 2h 10m drive away.

Dining
Your private chef and chalet host will ensure all your culinary needs are met at Chalet Menor, and you can be sure of being well fed and watered during your stay.
Breakfast is offered each morning, so you’ll leave for the slopes set fair for a day of activity. Once you tire of the snow, your driver will whisk you back to the chalet to enjoy afternoon tea.
There’s just enough time for a soak in the hot tub or swim in the pool before pre-dinner drinks and canapés are served. Your chef will create mouth-watering dinners on six evenings and if you have any special dietary requirements, this will be taken into consideration with the menu. If you would like a separate early dinner for the children, that’s no problem.
A selection of at least 7 different handpicked house wines (red, white & rose), Champagne, spirits, beers, soft drinks, Nespresso coffees and teas are included during your stay.
You’ll have one evening to sample the local restaurants and your chalet host will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.

Kids
Children will enjoy the delightful indoor swimming pool, so be sure to pack the all-important swimmers. This luxury ski chalet offers plenty of places to play as well as a garden to roam around in better weather.
The four-berth dormitory makes an excellent den for kids to make their own. The chalet also offers a selection of children’s toys including sledges, games and books.
Meribel is a great base for a family ski holiday with plenty of slopes for beginner skiers and lots of other activities available for anyone who doesn’t wish to ski.
Cot and highchair can be provided for little guests, and childcare can be arranged on request.
