With plenty of country house charm and a hint of Alpine style, Chalet Petit Pilou offers a unique experience. This luxury ski chalet in Zermatt sleeps up to seven people in a standalone building with views of the Matterhorn and room for everyone to gather together and relax alone, too.
The living spaces on the first floor are the welcoming heart and hearth of Petit Pilou. A roaring fire is waiting to warm you through as you lounge in capacious armchairs and sofas in the grand living room. Wood panelled walls and rustic furnishings give the space a really cosy feel, whether you’re chatting with friends over a glass of wine, or lounging with the TV for company. Adjacent is an elegant and modern dining space with a long table with black marble top and contemporary chandelier overhead. Glass doors slide closed on this room to make dinners feel even more cosy.
Two double bedrooms occupy the ground floor, stocked with fluffy towels and crisp linens, as well as luxury bath products to make your morning ablutions a pleasure. French windows flood the bedrooms with light and lead out onto a stunning terrace, where a ski-lift-style sauna sits, to warm your muscles after a morning on the Matterhorn. Upstairs, the bedrooms are just as magical, with a double and single on the very top floor, accompanied by their own reading nook, perfect for hiding away in with a book and a hot chocolate on snowy afternoons.
