Located in the pretty village of Le Fornet at the top of the valley, yet only five minutes from the centre of Val d’Isere, you are never far from the action. Roll out of bed in the mornings as the sun peeks over the mountains and let yourself be pampered with a hearty breakfast. You can stroll to the nearby cable car or be driven by the Chalet Sarire chauffeur. What a great start to the day.
Come back home to the smell of delicious home baked cakes, served with fruit and refreshing drinks. Feeling suitably revived, you might like to relax in the hot tub on the deck with a couple of friends. As the temperature drops, the storytelling begins, accompanied by the sound of popping champagne corks.
Chalet Sarire has an expansive living area, and separate dining space, all furnished in a contemporary, cosy style, which is perfect for entertaining. The elegant staircase takes you up to the bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms, stocked with fluffy towels and toiletries. The main chalet has space for up to 12 guests and when combined with the interlinked apartment (forming Chalet Grand Sarire), it can accommodate up to 16 guests.
Whatever you want, from a babysitter to massages to out-of-hours chauffeuring – it can be arranged. Just chill out with friends and family, and take in the fabulous views from Chalet Sarire’s huge deck. With a fragrant pine forest to one side and the snow-capped roofs of Val d’Isere on the other, you will feel on top of the world.
Location
Chalet Sarire is located in the hamlet of Le Fornet, on the outskirts of Val d’Isere. The resort centre is a 5 minute drive or approximately a 30 minute walk away.
In good snow conditions, it is possible to ski back to within a few metres of this luxury ski chalet.
Chambery airport is just under 2 hours drive and Geneva airport is approximately 3 hours drive away.

Dining
The bespoke service begins before you even arrive at Chalet Sarire. A pre-arrival menu consultation with your private chef ensures that any dietary requirements are taken on board, and any pet hates are avoided. Whether your party enjoys light, healthy meals, local specialities such as fondue, or spicy curries, the menu can be tailored to suit.
Your chef will have been carefully selected for the job, having extensive experience and a gourmet track record to ensure that every mouthful you eat is utterly delicious. As well as a freshly cooked breakfast and tasty teatime treats, you will have the option of children’s early suppers. When little ones just cannot wait for dinner, this is a great way to keep them happy and maybe even coax them into bed before the adults sit down to their three course feast.
Hand-picked house wines are served with dinner, along with soft drinks and selected spirits. One one evening of your choice, you’ll also enjoy a champagne and canapé reception.
The chef has two evenings off a week, leaving you to explore the wonderful restaurants in Val d’Isere and your host will be happy to make recommendations or bookings for you.

Kids
An ideal mountain retreat for families, Chalet Sarire can easily accommodate sharing families, with space for everyone to relax. The dining area is separate from the living space, so it’s easy for kids to slope off to watch their favourite movie whilst the adults enjoy the dinner table chat.
Set in a quiet village, yet just five minutes drive from the centre of Val d’Isere, the chalet offers privacy and seclusion. There is a cable car nearby for easy access to the slopes, or the kids can be dropped off at their ski lessons by the chalet chauffeur.
Whatever arrangements you need to make, just speak to your host. Everything from organising ski passes to hiring equipment becomes child’s play. The only thing left for you to do is enjoy spending time with your family and friends, without all the usual hassles and logistical headaches.
There are plenty of activities for children in Val d’Isere, such as the pool and climbing wall at the sports centre, or the dedicated sledging routes. Just let us know if you would like a nanny or babysitter to help look after your kids, and we can also arrange for cots in the chalet.
