Contemporary and eclectic, Chalet Snøstorm offers something a little different to the average luxury ski chalet. Perched high up in the village of Valtournenche, part of the Cervinia/Zermatt ski area, this stunning five-bedroom chalet has a fabulous position and amazing views out over the valley and mountains beyond.
Inside, the light and airy chalet is decorated in a modern, Nordic style with light woods and a neutral palette, which allow the retro furniture and design elements to sing. Original Italian advertising posters adorn the walls, bringing a talking point to the relaxed, pared-back style of Chalet Snøstorm.
The Scandi-cool kitchen and dining space features a custom-built dining table to comfortably seat your whole party, a roaring fire in a contemporary fireplace and tub-style chairs to seat you in comfort for laid-back meals.
A modern staircase leads down to the living space, which has capacious sofas and leather loungers to allow everyone to relax together in front of the TV or simply to enjoy the panoramic views from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
There’s lots to keep everyone busy, too, from the relaxing Hammam and soaking in the outdoor hot tub, to the separate TV room for movie nights.
Set in the beautiful village of Valtournenche, part of the Cervinia/Zermatt ski area, Chalet Snøstorm has an enviable position looking out over the Aosta valley and to the Matterhorn beyond.
The property is approximately 300 metres from the piste and there’s a wealth of wonderful skiing to be enjoyed here. Take the gondola up to Cervinia or the Plateau Rosa cable car through the Cervinia ski area to neighbouring Zermatt.
The nearest airports are Turin, 1 hour 30 minutes away or Milan Malpensa, 2 hours away.
