The open-plan living areas easily accommodate 10 adults and four children. Vaulted ceilings and huge windows flood the space with light during the day and by night, it becomes a sophisticated spot in which to enjoy drinks with friends and stare out as the mountain darkens. At one end of the main living area is a large seating space to relax in with corner sofas; at the other is a contemporary kitchen where you can warm your homemade dinners or spend time cooking yourself with local and seasonal ingredients. Between them is a modern dining space with statement chairs gathered around a refectory-style table.

While the open-plan rooms are wonderful for gathering in with friends and family, Chalet Spencer also offers plenty of space to break out, too. The property has a welcoming bar and TV room for any lovers of games. A capacious swing seat on the landing is just the spot to relax alone with the papers and a glass of wine, looking out onto the mountains.

Outdoor space is not forgotten either, with two terraces; one with outdoor dining area, and the lower terrace with relaxed lounging areas, hot tub and a panoramic sauna with a bubble window to allow you to enjoy the views.

Five double bedrooms and one quad bunk room, all with en-suite bathrooms and plenty of little luxuries, make bedtimes something everyone will look forward to. Sweet dreams guaranteed.
