Overlooked by the huge Mont Blanc massif, this modern-rustic, architect-designed luxury ski chalet in Chamonix is truly magical both inside and out.

The spacious and airy open-plan living area is the space everyone flocks to at Chalet Sundara. In one corner, capacious sofas invite you to sit and lounge in comfort, perhaps with the papers and a coffee, perhaps with friends and a glass of wine. Adjacent is a dining space with modern, refectory-style table and atmospheric lighting, all with a view from the double-height windows of the majestic Mont Blanc massif. Nearby, a well-equipped kitchen allows your private chef plenty of space to work his magic. Doors open straight out onto the upper garden and sun terrace, where you can relax in the outdoor living area and make the most of the fresh, mountain air.

One floor down, the chalet’s four individually designed en-suite bedrooms are all set around a private courtyard and garden. A sunken hot tub and a second outdoor lounge space provide a peaceful and relaxing area to enjoy the outdoors in total privacy, a glass of bubbly in hand, snuggled under a blanket.

Should you not feel quite zen enough already, the lower ground floor is also host to a spa area, where you can soothe aching muscles in the sauna and Hammam.

Location

This luxury ski chalet in Chamonix is located in a quiet spot in the hamlet of Les Mossoux, just outside the centre of Chamonix itself.

The property is just two minutes’ drive to the Le Brevent ski lift, 10 minutes to La Flegere and 15 minutes to Les Grands Montets. Chamonix, with all its shops, bars and restaurants is a 10-minute walk away and the nearest bus stop just a stone’s throw from the front door.

The nearest airport is Geneva, 1 hour away.

You’ll be sure of being well fed and watered at Chalet Sundara, beginning with a champagne reception to kickstart your stay.

Each morning a hearty breakfast is served to fuel you for a day on the slopes and when you return home, afternoon tea, along with homemade cakes, is ready and waiting for you.

On five nights of seven, a four-course gastronomic feast is served by your private chef, alongside hand-selected house wines to complement each course.
