Description

Step inside a mountain retreat where comfort and style have been made a priority and every last detail has been considered. Chalet Teredo is a luxury villa in Verbier, that’s an ideal base for a group of up to 10 to explore this wonderful resort.

As soon as you step through the front door, you’ll feel the warmth of the welcome. Wander through into the main living room, which is the heart of Teredo, with a roaring fire, squashy sofas and comfy armchairs gathered around it, perfect for curling up with a throw and a glass of wine to catch up with friends after a few hours on the slopes. The cathedralesque vaulted ceilings and huge windows offer mountain views that are nothing short of jaw-dropping.

Just around the corner is a cosy and contemporary dining space, with modern dining furniture and mountain views again, providing a talking point at the table. It’s a beautiful space in which to enjoy long, leisurely meals and perhaps to enjoy a few bottles from the chalet’s own wine cellar.

Snow enthusiasts will love the location of Teredo, perched just above the lift station, so you can be first out on the powder, but there’s lots to keep you busy in your chalet, too. The lower floor is home to a stunning spa area with a 12-metre indoor swimming pool and large relaxation area, with TV, kitchenette and dining space. There’s also a beautifully designed Hammam and an outdoor Jacuzzi. You could easily spend all afternoon down in the spa, soothing aching muscles and restoring body and mind. Or you might like to hit the cinema room for popcorn and a movie, sprawled on faux-fur beanbags or comfy seats.

The outdoor spaces have been thoughtfully designed, too. South-facing terraces and balconies get plenty of sunshine, providing a lovely spot to enjoy the views, the mountain air, and maybe a drink or two at one of the many seating and dining spaces, or even the chunky wood swing. Just don’t spill your champagne!

Each of the bedrooms has access to its own outdoor space, too, so you can enjoy a quiet coffee with the mountain before you start your day, or perhaps a nightcap last thing, before climbing into super-comfy beds and dreaming sweet dreams.
