Rarely do you come across a three-bedroom chalet in the Alps with such style and space. If you’re travelling as a smaller group but don’t want to compromise on luxury touches like chic interior design, your own outdoor hot tub and epic mountain views then look no further than Chalet Three Bears.
Leave your ski gear down in the boot room and head up to the chalet where you’ll first find the bedrooms. There is one huge master suite – with an en suite bath perfect for soaking tired legs after the slopes – plus a second spacious, en suite bedroom, and a kid-friendly en suite bunkroom. Crucially, all of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and each has access to a balcony, so you can enjoy morning mountain vistas as soon as you wake up.
Upstairs, things get even more special. A very generous open-plan kitchen and dining area leads down a few steps to the impeccably styled living room with its huge picture windows. From both areas there is access to the large balcony, which wraps around the entire front and side of the chalet to make the most of uninterrupted views of the snowy peaks. As well as comfortable outdoor furniture you’ll find a hot tub nestled in the eaves at the far end of the balcony, so you can soak and enjoy the views under shelter.
It’s clear that no expense has been spared in the decoration of Chalet Three Bears. The exposed wooden ceilings and panelled walls remind you that you’re in the Alps, but plush soft furnishings, matt black finishes and splashes of colour create a cool contemporary vibe that feels very luxurious.
Chalet Three Bears enjoys prime position in Morzine, at just an easy ten minute stroll to the bustling centre. Across the footbridge, you can hop on the Super Morzine ski lift and head up towards Avoriaz. Should you wish to explore the Morzine – Les Gets ski area, the Pleney lift is a further 5 minute stroll away.
The nearest airport is in Geneva, approximate 1hr 20mins drive away.

Due to its enviable Morzine location and spacious kitchen area, Chalet Three Bears is offered on a self-catered basis. On arrival, a local team member will welcome you with a luxury hamper to ensure you’re stocked with all the essentials – plus a couple of bottles of (equally essential) wine and regional goodies.
With supermarkets, grocers and delis all found in Morzine centre you’ll easily be able to pick up anything you need to cook with, or, for an extra cost, organise for one of the team to do the shop for you. Then rustle up a hearty post-ski dinner and make the most of your open-plan space, where you’re free to get comfy and recline on the sofas after dinner.
As well as cooking for yourselves, make sure you also take advantage of the resort’s many restaurants. Either on the mountainside or in the village centre you’ll find some amazing restaurants serving everything from fondue to beef bourguignon and French onion soup. Of course, après beers or hot chocolates are a must too!

Chalet Three Bears is an ideal base for families. Having all the kids sleep in the bunkroom will make them feel as though they’ve got their own kids-only den – so your only bedtime problem will be helping them agree on who gets top bunk.
Being close to central Morzine and the ski lifts is another big plus for families staying here. Essentially, the shorter the walk to the lifts, the shorter the time you’ll have to carry multiple sets of skis.
Post slopes, there is plenty to keep youngsters entertained here too. Perhaps a splash around in the hot tub, supper and then a movie and hot chocolates in the lounge?
