Chic, relaxing and spacious, this luxury ski chalet in St. Martin de Belleville in the Trois Valleys area of the French Alps is the ideal home from home.
Arranged over three floors, Chalet Verdet offers stunning mountain and valley views from the five airy bedrooms and also from the spacious living area. You’ll want to have your camera phone ready to capture some of those unforgettable vistas – no filter required!
Once you’ve finished snapping, you’ll no doubt welcome the chance to relax on the sprawling Italian designed corner sofa in the beautiful living area on the first floor. A double height vaulted ceiling, sparkling chandelier and cow hide armchairs add spark to the pared down colour palette of greys, creams and taupes at this luxury ski chalet.
When you’ve finished catching up with your party, you can lose yourself in your favourite movie on the TV and DVD player mounted on the wall.
The stunning three sided glass fireplace acts as a centrepiece across the open plan first floor and can be enjoyed from the living, dining and kitchen areas.
But wait, there’s more…the living area opens out onto to a spacious private sun terrace. Here you’ll find rattan seating and a large, inviting hot tub. Grab a glass of something fizzy and slip into the warm water – just the ticket after a day of hurtling down the slopes on your luxury ski holiday.
If more R&R is required, pad down to this luxury chalet’s private wellness area, with sauna and loungers. Relaxing massages can be arranged on request. The ground floor also houses ski storage and heated boot warmers.
Then it’s time to gather in the ambient dining area, with village and mountain views, for candlelit meals prepared by your own private chef.
For quieter moments at this luxury ski chalet, you (or the kids) can steal away to the cosy snug on the second floor, complete with corner sofa, cream cashmere curtains, TV, DVD player and WiiU console along with children’s DVDs, books and board games.

On staff nights off two days a week, you’ll no doubt want to sample the wonderful local restaurants in and around St. Martin de Belleville. Le Montagnard offers Savoyard specialities and is set in a converted hayloft near the St. Martin drag lift, and is great for an evening of Savoyard specialties. La Ferme de la Choumette is quirky and rustic, offering local meats cooked over an open flame. L’Eterlou is recommended for traditional French dishes, as is family friendly La Voute, in the church square, which serves an excellent range of pizzas. The most famous local restaurant is 3 Michelin starred La Bouitte in the neighbouring village of St. Marcel.
For après-ski, try P Bar, with its open fire, cosy outdoor seating and relaxed ambience.
