Positively oozing understated cool, Chalet Vieux Pont is the perfect choice for Val d’Isere stylistas who like their interiors quietly sophisticated and their views nothing short of stunning.
Architect Michel Covarel has used designer lighting and a vaulted ceiling to make the open plan living and dining areas in this luxury ski chalet feel really spacious. A relaxed seating zone with sheepskin throws and tactile cushions makes for a cosy and welcoming place to relax with a drink in the evenings while your three-course gastronomic feast is prepared by your private chef.
Then sit around the rustic dining table with your friends or family to enjoy your meal and linger over a few bottles of fine wines while you admire your view of the Isere river.
To ensure maximum relaxation, the cosy bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms with stylish fittings are all supplied with stacks of fluffy towels and robes as well as crisp, cotton sheets. One of the bedrooms is built right into the river’s rockface – you won’t get closer to nature than that!
On the lower floor of the four-storey property you’ll find a gorgeous private swimming pool and a hammam, too, where you can relax after a day’s skiing and ease those well-used muscles.
Chalet Vieux Pont is in the Le Fornet hamlet of Val d’Isere, at the bottom of the blue Mangard ski run, just 300m from the cable car. In good snow conditions you can ski right back to the door at this luxury ski chalet.
The centre of Val d’Isere is a 7 minute chauffeured drive away.
Chambery airport is just under 2 hours drive away whilst Geneva is approximately 3 hours away.
