‘Rich’ is a word that sums up this luxury ski chalet in Chamonix very nicely. Rich colours, rich, rustic woods and a great entertainment scene to enjoy both in and out of the chalet.
Set in the sought-after old village of Argentiere, this traditional-looking luxury chalet is fantastically located for exploring the ski areas of Chamonix.
And inside, it does not disappoint either. Chalet Zenith 1 luxuriates in not one, but two entertainment rooms – a cinema room where you can gather with friends and enjoy an afternoon movie with drinks and popcorn, and another entertainment room complete with board games and a computer console. The question is only which one you’re going to chuck the kids into and which the adults will get to enjoy all to themselves!
The main living area is an open-plan space comprising living, dining and kitchen areas, making it ideally suited to relaxing with friends after the skiing day is done. Sprawl in front of the log fire, gather round the rustic dining table with hot drinks and cakes, or perch at the bar in the kitchen, watching your chef at work putting together a fabulous evening meal. There’s plenty of space for everyone in this luxury ski chalet.
Each of the luxury bedrooms in this luxury ski chalet is decorated in its own unique style – we particularly love the room with the wall of patchwork cow hyde – and offers an ultra-comfy bed, with the plumpest of pillows and puffiest of duvets to ensure a great night’s sleep every night.
But before you turn in, make sure you wander out onto the balconies with a nightcap and take in the astounding view of the Mont Blanc range and fresh Chamonix air… then scamper back in to underfloor heating, faux fur throws and a steaming hot chocolate before bed. Bliss, indeed.
Zenith 1 is located in the charming, traditional Savoyard village of Argentiere. The chalet is just a few minutes walk from the heart of the old village and the main town of Chamonix is 15 minutes drive away.
The nearest Les Grands Montets ski area is 2-3 minutes drive away. It is also possible to make your way to this ski area on foot by walking through the back of Argentiere and onto the cross-country ski track to join the homepiste. This takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
Other ski areas of Flegere and Le Tour are 5 minutes drive, Le Brevent 15 minutes drive and Les Houches 25 minutes drive away.
The nearest airport is Geneva, approximately 1hr 15mins drive away.

You can be sure of being well fed here at Zenith 1. Your chef is carefully selected for their skill, expertise and imaginative way with menus.
Each morning a hearty breakfast is served – pastries, cereals, fruit and yoghurt alongside local meats and cheeses and lashings of tea and coffee. Hot breakfasts are cooked to order. In the afternoon, on your return from the slopes, afternoon tea will be laid out ready for you, with freshly baked, cakes, muffins or cookies with tea and coffee – or even a beer if you want to start your apres early.
On five evenings of seven, a four-course evening meal will be prepared using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. A selection of local French wines are served alongside it.
If you wish, there is also an A la carte wine list (additional cost) – the cellar has something to suit every taste.
You’ll have two evenings on staff days off to explore wonderful local restaurants and your chalet host will be happy to make recommendations and bookings.

Everything you could need is taken care of – from outdoor toys (toboggans, sleds, shovels and spades) to things to keep them busy indoors (board games and an extensive library of family movies). And, getting to slopes couldn’t be easier with your in-resort driver service to shuttle you to and from the lifts.
