The residence has a well-equipped ski room with boot warmers, so you can be out on the slopes in no time each morning. It’s also a mere hop, skip and jump from Zermatt’s shops, bars and restaurants.
The apartment itself is beautifully equipped with all you could need for a relaxing luxury ski holiday. The communal areas are what really makes it, with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing light to flood into the living spaces from the south-facing balcony which has views of the Matterhorn. Whether you’re curled up with a book in front of the wood-burning fireplace, or gathered with friends around the intimate dining table, an atmosphere of conviviality and warmth pervades.
Each of the luxury bedrooms is decked out beautifully and has a TV and a spa-style bathroom, giving every guest space to relax and find some peace and quiet on their luxury ski holiday.
If, after a day on the slopes, you fancy an hour or two of serious pampering time you can always take advantage of the shared gym and massage room on the ground floor of the building.
And should you require any further relaxation, simply wander out onto this luxury ski chalet’s south-facing balcony with a glass of bubbly and gaze out at the Matterhorn – a view that simply eclipses all other thoughts.
Christiania Apartment 7 has a prime position right in the heart of Zermatt, so you’re never more than a few moments from the bustling high street with all its bars and restaurants.
The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car is just 500m away, whilst the Klein Matterhorn lift station and Sunnega lifts are no more than a four minute electric taxi ride away or an 8-9 minute walk.
Zermatt is a car-free resort which has a railway station, so guests often arrive by train.
Geneva Airport is approximately 3 hours drive away.
