Located in the exclusive La Legettaz area, this apartment is perfectly positioned within a stone’s throw to the Solaise piste. Guests can ski directly back to the property, where skis and boots can be safely stored in the apartment’s dedicated ski room on the ground floor.

Set on the second floor of a newly renovated building, all the practicalities are taken care of here, with private laundry and ski room facilities to make the everyday business of getting out on the snow and back in again a breeze. But they’ve also thought of the important extras such as the stunning spa, shared with other residents, where you can relax in the heated indoor swimming pool in the afternoon and soothe any slopes-weary limbs in the sauna.

The chalet is only a short drive from the centre of Val d’Isere, so it’s easy to enjoy the town’s plethora of restaurants, bars and cafes, but if you prefer to spend a cosy evening in, you’ll find a warm welcome at Grand Pré 2. The open-plan living space is enormously sociable and ideal for a gathering of friends, with a roaring fireplace, large sofas to sprawl on and plenty of snuggly cushions and throws to keep you toasty on wintry evenings.

The whole property is thoughtfully decorated in a range of tactile woods, iron and leather, creating a modern rustic feel that is at once stylish and homely. Designer lighting twinkles beautifully in all the right places in the evening, illuminating your gatherings and keeping conversations going long into the night.

Each of the cosy bedrooms is named for a local animal, and accessorised with nods to the mountains all around. Stacks of pillows, cosy throws and fluffy dressing gowns make each room a bit of a retreat in itself and we’re sure you’ll have sweet dreams here.

In the mornings, we recommend you take your first coffee of the day out on the impressive balcony. There aren’t many places in the world where you can wake up to a view like this.
