Snuggled up under the rafters of this plush ski-in/ski-out penthouse, your eye is drawn outside to the twinkling lights of Zermatt and the outline of the Matterhorn against a brooding night sky. The floor to ceiling windows of the High 7 Penthouse chalet create the sensation of being on top of the world, in this Swiss winter wonderland.
The Penthouse has plenty of space over two floors for eight guests and is one of four beautifully furnished apartments in the Chalet High Seven building. It has the kind of chic, deluxe style that graces the pages of interiors magazines. Warm wood, natural stone and soft woollen tweeds abound, and the space is filled with light. Sleek contemporary kitchen and bathroom fittings give it that chic, boutique finish.
Five star service is all part of the experience at the High 7 Penthouse chalet. Your chalet host serves you a refreshing glass of Champagne and sorts out all the details of your stay. Your lift passes, ski lessons and activities can all be arranged whilst you relax on the sofa, or take a soothing hot bath in the beautiful freestanding tub. And the housekeeper visits every day, so you always come home to a perfect pad.
In the kitchen, the chef is busy preparing a delicious meal, spoiling you with gourmet treats from breakfast through to afternoon tea and the evening meal. Kick back in front of the striking 360 degree fireplace, or step out onto the balcony to appreciate the magical setting of High 7 Penthouse, set within Zermatt’s exclusive Winkelmatten district.
But if you enjoy your independence, High 7 Penthouse can be offered on a self-catered basis that allows you to set your own schedule on your luxury ski holiday.
Apart from the deluxe credentials already mentioned, there is an added feature which makes it really special. Chalet High 7 Penthouse has its own gorgeous wellness area, where you can sooth away aches and pains in the Bio Sauna and Jacuzzi-style relaxation bath. Your host can also arrange for beauty therapists and masseurs to visit.
And the icing on the cake is the fact that you can ski in and out. Just glide up to the door and zoom up to the cosy nest of the High 7 Penthouse.
High 7 Penthouse is located in a ski-in/ski-out position (snow conditions permitting) in the Winkelmatten district of Zermatt in Switzerland. It’s just a 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre.
From the chalet you can ski through the meadow and down to the Klein Matterhorn Express Lift and you can ski back to the door of the chalet down the Moosweg ski-run.
