A trip to Le Blizzard is like stepping into Narnia – where it’s always winter no matter what time of year. This luxury ski hotel is designed using rustic woods and other natural materials, warm colours and tactile fabrics. Whether you’re snuggled in your cosy room or suite or in the lounge bar, soaking up the atmosphere, the welcome is as warm as the snug throws and the roaring fires.
You’re right in the heart of Val d’Isere here, there’s no better place for a luxury ski holiday. The village is picture-postcard beautiful – a stunning backdrop for your stay. Just steps from the lifts, the slopes and the shops, you’ll never waste a moment getting to where you want to be. And Val d’Isere is one of the highest altitude resorts in Europe, making one of the best for snow, too. Along with Tignes it offers one of the biggest varieties of terrain anywhere, so it’s a real skier’s Mecca.
And when your skiing day is done you can be back in the bar enjoying the après within moments. The lounge area is the ideal spot for warming cold feet in front of the fire over a few cocktails before heading to the spa for a post-ski massage and a dip in the heated outdoor pool with views over the mountains. Don’t forget to pop into the sauna or hammam on your way back in too.
Staff are on hand to take care of everything, from ensuring your ski passes are delivered to your door, to putting delicious food on your table each day, arranging childcare and booking restaurant reservations.
