Luxury 5* hotel
Ski-in/ski-out
Hotel Le Cheval Blanc in Courchevel 1850 in France is the last word in luxury ski hotels. Nestled in the sought-after Jardin Alpin area in a ski-in/ski-out location in Courchevel 1850, this luxury ski hotel will not fail to impress even the most discerning of travellers. At the centre of its ethos is the desire to offer a made-to-measure service from top to bottom.
Original artworks and architectural wonders grace every corner of the hotel, inside and out, bringing a contemporary and bold feel to the otherwise classically conceived ‘maison’. Cashmere, fur and leather offer rustic charm alongside cool, sleek burnished brass, bronze and glass. The perfect combination of sophistication and comfort.
The hotel is located within easy reach of some of Courchevel’s best boutiques but the shopping also comes to you at Cheval Blanc. A thoughtfully curated collection of luxury and designer goods are available in the hotel’s three boutiques, including a Louis Vuitton store and a ski shop which specialises in collaborations between Cheval Blanc and the likes of Lacroix and Nidecker. You can shop in complete privacy and can be sure of picking up something stunning whether for the slopes or for the bars and restaurants of Courchevel 1850.
A customised ski service means each morning you’ll find your maps for that day’s ski and your warmed boots standing ready for you. And there’s also plenty organised for any members of your party who don’t fancy skiing, from ice-carving to sled-dog rides and snowman-building with the hotel’s dedicated Snowman Kit.
You can be sure of a welcome to warm you through when you return to the hotel each evening, whatever you’ve spent your day doing. The Guerlain spa and magical swimming pools area will restore body and mind. Cool plunge pools, warming saunas and a simply stunning pool, mirrored in the ceiling above, provide a backdrop in which it’s impossible not to relax – and that’s before you indulge in a Guerlain cocktail, inspired by the renowned perfumes and a pampering skin treatment.
Spend the evening tripping from beautiful bar to fabulous restaurant, all in Le Cheval’s four walls and then make your way to bed for one of the best night’s sleep you will ever enjoy in a fabulously designed luxury suite.
It is the stuff snowy dreams are made of.
Located in a ski-in/ski-out location on the side of the piste in the Jardin Alpin area of Courchevel 1850, the Hotel Le Cheval Blanc enjoys an enviable location.

Small guests are given as much consideration at Hotel le Cheval Blanc as adults. After all, happy and relaxed children make for happy and relaxed parents. Le Carrousel is a fabulous kids’ club, where a brightly coloured felt hallway leads down to a rabbits’ warren of alcoves and passageways full of adventure, fun and games, presided over by Le Carrousel’s Ambassadeurs.
Teens will enjoy the Le Paddock hang-out with a foosball table, interactive games and a wonderful cinema room. The Hotel Cheval Blanc Courchevel 1850 also offers many family-friendly days out, including sled dog rides, ice-carving demonstrations and snowman-making courses, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy on your luxury ski holiday.
‘Hotel Cheval Blanc, perched on the top at 1850 metres, is as close to heaven as you can get. It’s not just the ski-in ski-out aspect that sets it apart, but also the Michelin-starred food, sensational Guerlain Spa and utterly seamless service. They aim to offer the things which money can’t buy, this results not in facilities (such as Playstations, like some of their neighbours), but in remembering favourite flavours, bringing rabbits in for small children to hold at Easter time and scattering rose petals on a table when it is an anniversary’ – Telegraph.
