Located at the foot of the legendary Bellevarde run, Hotel Les Barmes de l’Ours offers fantastic ski-in/ski out accommodation for your luxury ski holiday in Val d’Isere. Complete with a spa and swimming pool it has everything you need under one roof.
Arranged over four floors are 49 rooms and 27 suites, including 11 family rooms. Each spacious ‘nest’ has its own private balcony for atmospheric morning coffees or sundowners depending on your schedule.
Each floor offers its own distinct theme at this luxury ski hotel. Scandinavian spirit on the first floor channels airy Nordic vibes with fresh tones, Gustavian furnishings and whitewashed lazured wood.
Lodge of the American Great White North, on the second floor, whisks you across the Atlantic. The rooms feel like cosy lodges with dark wood furnishing, fur, velvet and leather accents.
Traditionalists will love the third floor at this luxury ski hotel in Val d’Isere, where the Alpine Chalet theme offers the traditional surroundings of Savoyard bolt holes with warm honey tones, squishy carpets and rustic furnishings.

Accommodation is divided into 49 rooms and 27 suites at this luxury ski hotel. All rooms have a TV, mini-bar, safe, hairdryer, wifi and a balcony.

Standard room – 25sqm.
Standard rooms have two single beds, which can be converted into a double on request and an en-suite with bath.
Classic room – 25sqm.
Offering two single beds, which can be converted into a double on request, classic rooms also have an en-suite with shower and bath.
Superior room – 25sqm.
These rooms have two individual beds, which can be made into one large bed on request. They offer views over the Carats area and have an en-suite with bath, shower and separate WC. Some Superior rooms may be joined with a Junior suite.
Luxury room – 30sqm.
Offering a large bed and wonderful views of either the mountains or the village, these rooms offer an en-suite with bath, shower and a separate WC. Some Luxury rooms may be joined together or with a Family suite.
Junior suite – 44sqm.
Offering views of the ski area and Bellevarde slope, this suite features a king-size bed, bathroom with whirlpool and shower and separate WC. Some suites offer a sofa bed (to sleep children under 12 years). These suites also have a Nespresso coffee machine. A junior suite may be joined to a Classic or Superior room or a Prestige suite.
Family suite – 60sqm.
Spacious enough for a family, these suites can sleep 2 adults and up to 3 children under 12 years old. All suites have a living area and main bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with whirlpool bath and shower. Some suites have bunk beds in the alcove in the entrance and a shower room with an additional fold out bed available if required. (These rooms are most suited to 2 adults and 2 children). Other suites have a small second bedroom with a bunk bed to sleep 2 and a further single bed an en-suite shower room with separate WC. (These rooms are most suited to 2 adults and 3 children. The Family Suites have views of either the mountain or over Val d’Isere and also come equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine.
Prestige suite – 60sqm.
With panoramic views of Val d’Isère and the mountain, this suite offers a living room, bedroom with a king-size bed, bathroom with shower and whirlpool bath and separate WC. Some suites have a sliding door between the bedroom and living room and a sofa bed for children under 12 years. All have a Nespresso coffee machine. A Prestige suite may be joined with a Junior suite.
Ourson Bear Cub suite – 80sqm.
Spacious enough for a family, these suites can sleep 2 adults and up to 3 children under 12 years old. All suites have a living area and main bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with whirpool bath and shower. Children get their own room with bunk beds to sleep two, some have a further single bed and some have a fold out bed (these rooms are most suited to 2 adults and 2 children). The bunk rooms have their own shower room. The Ourson Bear Cub Suite comes with a Nespresso coffee machine and has a stunning view of either the mountains or overlooking Val d’Isere.
Ours Bear Suite – 80sqm.
Offering spectacular views of Val d’Isère, this spacious suite is ideal for a honeymoon or other special occasion. There’s a large bedroom, living room, wooden bar and chimney along with a private Jacuzzi, hammam and sauna in addition to a bathroom with bathtub and shower, two sinks, separate WC and Nespresso coffee machine.
Hotel Les Brames de l’Ours has three restaurants, one of which is a fine-dining eatery. Rooms and suites are available on a bed and breakfast basis.
Dinners can be enjoyed in any of the three restaurants; La Rotisserie, La Coin Savoyard or La Table De L’Ours (where breakfast is also served) or you can order a continental spread to your room.
La Rotisserie celebrates local ingredients and flavours. One for the carnivores amongst you, butcher’s choice cuts on a spit are the order of the day.
Decorated with ancient sleds and skis, La Coin Savoyard embodies the charm of a chalet eatery, offering hearty cheese dishes such as raclette and Savoyard tartiflette.
La Table de L’Ours, the 1 starred Michelin Gastronomic restaurant, offers a truly top notch fine dining experience and is the ideal location for special occasions.
Then there’s Le Sofa Bar – the first place to head when you’re down from the slopes and in need of a chilled glass (or three!) of the local beer or wine or a warming vin chaud.
