If you’re the impatient type, fret not. You won’t have to hang around once you’ve stepped into your skis at this luxury ski hotel in Courchevel 1850. Built at the highest point in the uber exclusive Le Jardin Alpin – the location of Courchevel’s famous former Olympic ski jump – Hotel L’Apogee gives you ski-in/ski-out access.
Offering breathtaking views of Les Trois Vallees, it delivers on all counts. To start with, there are 53 stunning rooms and suites along with a penthouse and two private luxury chalets to choose from.
Designed by India Mahdavi and Joseph Dirand with tailor made furniture, rich tones, luxe fabrics, atmospheric lighting and unique touches, each room has its own distinct feel.
When you’re not careering down those slopes, or trying out the famous 1850 toboggan run, you’ll find plenty to amuse yourselves with at this luxury ski hotel.
First things first – Le Bar de L’Apogée. It’s the ideal spot for some of that celebrated après ski. Chic surroundings, a stunning bar, impressive drinks menu and some more of those wonderful views do the job.
This luxury ski hotel also has two on-site eateries. There’s gourmet offering, Le Comptoir de L’Apogé, and Koori, which produces exquisite Japanese delicacies.
There’s also a cigar lounge and billiard room for pre or post dinner relaxation. When you want to properly unwind, pad to the on-site Le Spa de L’Apogée which offers Sisley treatments, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and salt sauna.
There’s also a fitness centre, sports coaching and an 11 metre heated mosaic swimming pool if you still have some energy left to burn despite ploughing through all that powder.
You’re well placed for exploring the bars and boutiques that Courchevel 1850 has to offer. But we really wouldn’t blame you for never wanting to step foot outside this luxury ski hotel because it has pretty much everything you could desire under one roof.
Situated in the exclusive area of Le Domaine du Jardin Alpin in Courchevel 1850, Hotel L’Apogee offers ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes. In the afternoons you’ll glide straight back into the ski room via a 40-metre conveyor belt.
The centre of Courchevel 1850 is just a few minutes drive and the nearest airports are Chambery (2h) and Geneva (2h 15m).
Courchevel altiport is just a 5 minute drive from this luxury ski hotel and complimentary transfers are available on request.

L’Apogee Hotel has 53 rooms and suites. Please note that rates are per room per week.
All rooms have TVs, Nespresso coffee machines and wifi. Most rooms and suites can be connected to other rooms to create more spacious living arrangements.
Deluxe Room – 30 sqm.
Sleeping two guests in a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom, most of these rooms are south-facing and offer views over the mountains and sloping woodland.
Prestige Room – 39 sqm.
Sleeping two guests in a king-size bed or twin beds with en-suite bathroom these rooms have beautiful views over the valley and slopes or snowy woodland. Some have private balconies and some rooms in this category also have a sofa bed – ideal for younger guests and free for children under six.
Junior Suite – 45 sqm.
Sleeping two adults in a king-size bed or twin beds with en-suite bathroom, Junior suites include a cosy sitting area with sofa bed to accommodate a further guest, ideally to suited to younger children and free for those under 6. Some have private balconies and all have views of the valley, slopes or woodland.
Deluxe Junior Suite – 50 sqm.
These suites can sleep two guests in a king-size bed or twin beds with en-suite bathroom and there is also room to accommodate a further guest (adult or child) on a sofa bed in the living area. They have views over the Courchevel valley with mountain views and some suites have a balcony, whilst others have a steam room.
Prestige Junior Suite – 60 sqm.
Situated on the upper floors, these suites offer unrivalled views. Sleeping either 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child (3rd guest accommodated on a sofa bed in the living area), all suites have a bedroom with king-size or twin beds and en-suite bathroom. Most suites have wonderful views over the Courchevel valley and some have their own balconies.
One bedroom suite – 75 sqm.
Offering a spacious bedroom and separate living room, these suites have a king-size bed, or twin beds with en-suite bathroom. They can sleep two adults, with a sofa bed available on request to accommodate a further guest (adult or child). Each suite has either mountain, valley or woodland views. Some have a balcony whilst others have a steam shower.
Deluxe One Bedroom Suite – 90 sqm.
Located on the top floor of the hotel, each of these suites has a balcony or terrace with stunning views and a spacious living area. Sleeping two guests on a king-size or twin beds with en-suite bathroom, there is also a sofa bed available on request to accommodate an extra guest (adult or child).
Deluxe Two Bedroom Suite – 100 sqm.
These suites sleep four guests on king-size or twin beds, across two bedrooms plus an extra guest (adult or child) can be accommodated on a sofa bed in the lounge area, on request. There is a large closest and being located on the top floor of the hotel affords these suites wonderful views from the balcony.
Prestige Suite – 110 sqm.
Sleeping two guests on a king-size bed or twin beds, with an extra guest (adult or child) being accommodated on a sofa bed, on request, the Prestige Suite is based on the top floor of the hotel. There is a lounge area, balcony and superb views of the slopes and valley.

Rates are usually inclusive of breakfast and either lunch or dinner at this luxury ski hotel. L’Apogee has two enticing dining options as well as a more relaxed bar for lunch.
Pastry Chef, Eve Moncorger, creates exquisite desserts, whilst Chef Jean-Luc Lefrançois rustles up gourmet offerings which look almost too beautiful to consume.
Gourmet offering, Le Comptoir de L’Apogé, serves traditional French fine dining with elegant surroundings and breathtaking vistas.
Japanese eatery, Koori, offers mouthwatering sushi and other delicacies.
For relaxed lunches or pancakes and waffles for something sweet in the afternoons, Le Bar de L’Apogée is the ideal spot. Then later, after dark, DJs and live singers truly bring the atmospheric surroundings of this bar to life.
Quite simply, junior guests will be in heaven at L’Apogée Courchevel because every day is a party. After a morning on the slopes, the hotel’s concierge can organise dog sled rides in the snow. When it’s time to head indoors, the most sought after kids clubs in Courchevel await.
Mini VIP 1850 welcomes children from four to ten years. A unique sensory experience, designed by Sophie Jacqmin, and run by enthusiastic kids club ambassadors, it allows your little ones to try lots of fun activities.

Low and high seasons vary by location and by property, but the general pattern is as follows:
Chalets
Low season is usually early/mid-December, mid-January, plus the summer months.
Mid season is usually early February, March and April.
High season is usually Xmas, New Year and mid/end February.

Low season is usually April, May and October.
Mid season is usually June and September.
High season is usually July and August.
Caribbean Villas
