Set among glorious gardens, this luxury villa in Provence is a total escape from the everyday. Each room in the typically Provencal stone buildings has been designed to delight, decorated in country cottage style, with colourful and patterned soft furnishings bringing pops of brightness to the calming, neutral palette.
The light and airy living room has a huge U-shaped sofa providing ample lounging space and an authentic fireplace, stocked with wood for cosy evenings. Close by is the modern-rustic dining room with a long refectory table and floor-to-ceiling windows offering garden views. Cook, eat and socialise in the large, open-plan kitchen where you can chat over a glass of wine or watch your cook at work. In addition to the private cook, a housekeeper comes in daily and your concierge can arrange anything else you require, from on-site massage or yoga classes to drivers, cookery lessons and childcare.
As well as the main house, there is a plethora of smaller buildings for your use including a guesthouse with its own bathroom, kitchenette and living area, ideal for grandparents, teens or anyone who needs a little more space and a well-equipped fitness room.
Step outside into a little bit of paradise where you can wander through rose gardens and olive groves or among the wooded areas at the edge of the estate. You might like to take breakfast in the warmth of the greenhouse, sitting among the greenery, or enjoy coffee on the terraces as the day begins to warm. On sunny afternoons, there’s nowhere nicer to be than splashing in the swimming pool, or sitting in the shade of the pool house, lounging on sofas or preparing snacks in the outdoor kitchen. And evenings are always best kicked off at the beautiful wooden bar built around the trunk of a tree, followed by long meals at the table under the plane trees as the sun goes down.
Each of the bedrooms has access to an outdoor space and all are beautifully designed to be cool, calming spaces, just made for good sleep. Soak in deep bathtubs, pull luxury cotton sheets around you and curl up with a book and the scent of the gardens wafting in on the breeze through the window.
This luxury villa in Provence is nestled in the picturesque village of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in the Alpilles region. The village is packed with Mediterranean charm with its historic cobbled streets and squares and there are lots of towns and villages to visit nearby.

Children are sure to fall in love with this fairytale home in enchanting gardens. With plenty of space to run among the rose garden, vegetable patches and wooded areas, they’ll always be nicely tired out by bedtime.
The swimming pool has a roll-across safety cover and is enclosed by a wooden fence for your peace of mind, and with the pool house nearby, they can sit and dry off under cover whenever they need to. There’s a pétanque court where they can learn the art of this traditional French ball game, too.
The highlight for kids is sure to be the Shepherd’s hut playroom located by the rose garden, with play kitchen, dens to hide in and toy boxes galore to keep them busy for hours.
Indoors, everything has been designed with families in mind. The family suite comprises a king-size (or twin) bed with a bathroom with both bathtub and shower, then a bunk room with two sets of beautiful wooden bunks to sleep four children – one of them even has a slide! You’ll never have seen them so keen to go to bed for the evening! A further two bedrooms can also be configured as twins to give you extra flexibility.
Nannies can be arranged on request and there is a cot available.
