Up the beautiful metal staircase is a stunning open-plan lounge and dining area. Floor-to-ceiling windows which fold back to reveal a spacious terrace, from which you can take in the mountain air over your morning coffee and stargaze at bedtime. All with spectacular panoramic views of the Mont Blanc mountain range itself. Indoors, sofas, armchairs and Corbusier-style loungers provide plenty of space for everyone to relax when they return home each day, as well as a comfortable seat from which to appreciate the amazing views. An elegant dining area seats eight in comfort – the perfect spot to enjoy long, relaxed dinners with good food, good wine and good friends. There’s also a smaller table for games, reading or simply sipping a morning coffee. Down in the lobby is another elegant seating area, so there’s always somewhere to find a little quiet if you want it.

The property’s location, right in the heart of Chamonix, means that when you return from your skiing day, there’s lots to keep everyone entertained. You’re seconds from all the cafes, bars and boutiques of Chamonix, whether you want to hit the shops or just quietly people watch over a hot chocolate. Penthouse Le Lustre also has its own cinema room if you’d like to enjoy a private afternoon matinee, and a private massage room where you can lie back and have any aches and pains soothed away. There’s even a ‘speakeasy’, a secret bar, behind a hidden door where you can sit at the stylish bar area and enjoy a nightcap before bed.
