If you are looking for a chalet offering the epitome of luxury for your ski holiday, you won’t find anything closer than the fabulous Severin’s The Alpine Retreat.
Severin’s The Alpine Retreat is a brand new super luxury ski chalet, offered either for exclusive use sleeping groups of 32 people or as a boutique hotel on a suite by suite basis.
Achingly stylish, the property has been dressed by international design guru Reinhard Strasser, who has given nods to traditional style with the reclaimed Tyrolean wood and typically Alpine copper roof, alongside a very contemporary look. The rooms are furnished by Italian studio, Minotti, ensuring every armchair has just the right ‘aaaahhh’ factor as you sink into it and every bed the perfect amount of ‘bounce’. Contemporary artworks from all around the world are regularly changed, making the property a ‘rolling’ gallery.
There are nine stunning suites and a duplex residence to sleep up to eight people. Each has its own living space, so there is always somewhere peaceful to retreat to if you wish. The highest quality linens and furnishings, state-of-the-art technology and luxury en-suites make each suite a very special bolthole of its own to retreat to at the end of the evening.
After an adventure-packed day, the state-of –the-art spa and fitness area is a real treat. With an immense range of facilities including infinity swimming pool with currents and whirlpools, saunas, steam room, gym and treatment rooms where you can be pampered and preened, there’s no finer way to spend the afternoon.
Severin’s The Alpine Retreat has its own gourmet restaurant, headed by Stephan Kriegelstein, where the bespoke menu offers traditional Austrian cuisine with a modern twist. There’s also a wonderful bar where you and your party can meet for après or after dinner drinks and catch up on the day’s events.
Staff are on hand to ensure you are always well fed and watered and completely comfortable. Save all your energy for the slopes and don’t lift a finger!
This luxury ski hotel in Lech is nestled in the hills of the Stubenbach area of the resort. The charming village of Lech and the ski lifts are a 5 minute drive away and guests are welcome to use the shuttle service that chalet operates (on request).
The nearest airports are Innsbruck, approx. 1hr 30mins away or Zurich approx. 2hrs 30mins away.

Severin’s The Alpine Retreat comprises nine suites and The Residence (spread over two floors). The suites are comprised of three categories; 2 x Junior Suites, 3 x Family Suites and 4 x Senior Suites.
Please note that rates are per room per week for double occupancy.
The Family Suites have an additional bunk bed to sleep two children in the living area.
Each suite has separate living and sleeping areas, fireplace, spacious wardrobes, wet-room style bathrooms with bathtub, rain shower and vanities. The luxury Minotti beds are dressed with the finest Egyptian cotton bedding and there is a private terrace/balcony with spectacular mountain views.

The Residence offers an additional 423sqm of living space. Spread over two floors, it sleeps 8 people, allowing a total of 32 guests and includes private facilities such as state of the art kitchen, dining room, home cinema, grand piano and private Whirlpool on the sun terrace.
Food and drink are an intrinsic part of the experience here. Guests of Severin’s The Alpine Retreat are able to enjoy the private dining experience by head chef, Stephan Kriegelstein and his team.
Daily breakfast and dinner on six evenings are included in your stay and are served in the chalet’s stylish restaurant. Offering traditional cuisine served in an innovative and sophisticated manor, there is a huge emphasis on using organic local produce and the latest culinary techniques.
Alternatively, guests may order meals to their suites if they prefer with the 24-hour room service. Service is key and the aim is to be entirely flexible depending on your requirements. Guests of The Residence may also hire the services of a chef and butler to prepare and serve meals in the privacy of apartment.
The Alpine inspired bar at the chalet is open for apres ski, aperitifs and post-dinner drinks and the chalet also a temperature-controlled wine cellar where you can take part in tastings or hold private dinners or events.

Severin’s The Alpine Retreat operates a 24-hour service and is fully staffed with a large team of professionals from chefs, to housekeeping, drivers and laundresses.
Families are made most welcome at Severin’s The Alpine Retreat. The family have luxury bunks with built in TVs to make bedtime a treat.
Children of all ages will enjoy using the private swimming pool and the residence has its own cinema room, perfect for movie nights.
There is plenty of baby equipment available if you are travelling with little ones, from cots, to highchairs and bottle warmers.
Nannies and babysitters are available on request if you wish to go out for the evening.

Low and high seasons vary by location and by property, but the general pattern is as follows:
Chalets
Low season is usually early/mid-December, mid-January, plus the summer months.
Mid season is usually early February, March and April.
High season is usually Xmas, New Year and mid/end February.
European Villas
Low season is usually April, May and October.
